Color Me Impressed!
I have been on the hunt for a decent pair of true flat studio monitor headphones for a while and DING! I think I just hit the jackpot. I was just about ready to give up and just buy another pair of Sony’s for my home studio, I just didn’t really want to spend another $90. I figured, someone out there has got to make a decent pair of studio monitor headphones for less than $500, $250, $170, $90… Well, guess what kids, I think I have found them with these Fifine Studio Monitor Headphones. They are lightweight, easy on the head-squeezy, feel sturdy, come with two cords, and a nice box. No carry bag but what do you want for $34? The sound is very flat, clean and clear, just like voice-over folk and music producers want. I’ve been the radio and VO biz for 39 years, so I kinda know what I’m talking about. Am I a cheapskate? Not really, but I do live on a budget, and I’m always looking for great quality at a good price. Granted, this is my first day with these, but so far… Color Me Impressed.Update: After trying these side by side with my Sony MDR 7506s, I felt I had to update my position, these are a bit too bassy to use on-air since I am used to the Sonys, but then isn’t everything when you’re used to the Sony MDRs? However, using these for my home studio setup they sound great, and I will continue to use them for my home-based voice-over business. Not perfect, but for the price point, great job Fifine!

Value price, professional performance
I will update my review if anything changes.3/2025I just received them. The packaging is exceptional. The quality of the cables, and the headphones are great. The sound is very good.I would like anyone considering these to note that these are MONITORS. The sound I get is very neutral. Full coverage, good bass, all that.Just don’t buy these if you think they’re for listening to music or media because you’ll probably think they’re terrible if you do.I would also like to note that they are smaller than they seem. They’re very comfortable, they’re designed well and look good. My ears fit INSIDE the muffs with rather large ears which is really all I wanted. And really for the price you can’t go wrong. Great starter monitors at a great value. Highly functional, if a bit basic.

Worth the money
These headphones make a great stand in for any general headphones.Currently I use these headphones to listen ans create music, and while the ranges arenât super duper studio quality, they excel for the price. The headphones are somewhat hard to tell left to right as the sides arenât obviously labeled with a big letter, but I really donât mind. The pads for the headphones are decent, and the inside of the ear covers arenât plastic-y or sharp on the ears. The cables that come with the headphones are high quality, and coils like an old phone cord. After months and months of use, these have retained their quality and havenât lost any comfort. I recommend these for those optional âneed to wear headphonesâ moments.

Great gaming headset for the money!
Bought this for as birthday gift since I received a microphone to retire my old Razer headset and finally upgrade. The Fifine headset upon first review is comfortable, decent quality for the price and a good size. I have a smaller head size and had no issues with it being too tight or too little since you can adjust the height. The ear cuffs are nice and plush and the sound quality is overall good upon testing it with several of the games I play very often. I can hear the sounds perfectly through and noticed I can hardly hear background noise which is great. The only thing I didnât enjoy is the coil wire you plug into your pc or console, itâs kind of a hassle and gets in the way. Wouldâve prefer it was straight.

Surprisingly really good headset
Got these with the audio mixer bundle. I was hesitant because of the mixed reviews. After almost a week of using them, am able to determine the following:- Durability: Great. These do not feel like they will break/break off and love the coiled cord for it.- Clarity and Sound quality: VERY good. Not really noise cancelling – as that is what I used previously, but I don’t really care for that. As long as I am about to hear the audio from my computer like normal and not from a can, I’m happy- Weight: Super lightweight. I don’t like bulkiness, so I’m happy.- Size: This is where I have an issue. Long use of these headphones would cause a sharp pain to occur and it’s possibly due to the shape of the padded headphones themselves. Why it looks like it would fit over my ears perfectly, they actually don’t. I will say I had this issue with my last headset so I am more inclined to believe that my ears are just shaped weird and majority of headsets are just not going to fit over my ears well.Overall, the bundle with this and the audio mixer: Best bang for your buck.

Uncomfortable cushions & bent aux cord decent sound, but not worth it
I wanted to like these, but theyâre just not it.The Fifine H8 headphones look nice and have a decent sound for the price mids and highs are clear enough for podcasts or light studio use. But the problems outweigh the positives. The cushions are stiff and not comfy at all, especially after 30 minutes. They donât seal well either, which messes with the sound bass feels super weak and everything just sounds kind of weird and thin. Definitely not good for immersive listening. Also, my aux cord came bent right out of the box. Thatâs a quality control issue. It still worked, but the bent part made the connection feel unstable, and I worry itâll wear out fast.No detachable cable and no inline controls either. Just barebones wired headphones that feel cheap in comfort and build. If youâre just starting out and need something, these might work. But honestly, Iâd recommend saving up a bit more for better headphones.

I recently purchased the Fifine H8 Monitoring Studio Headphones and I am quite impressed with their performance. As an intermediate user, I was looking for a pair of headphones that would deliver clear and accurate sound, and these headphones did not disappoint. The sound quality is excellent, with well-balanced bass, mids, and highs. The ear cups are comfortable and fit well over my ears, allowing me to wear them for extended periods without any discomfort.Additionally, the build quality is solid and I appreciate the adjustable headband and swivel ear cups for easy storage. The included cord is long enough for my needs and the 1/4 inch adapter is a nice bonus.Overall, I am very satisfied with my purchase and would highly recommend these headphones to others looking for an affordable option for monitoring audio.
