Better Than I Expected…
As a Videographer I wanted something for BTS for teaching and YouTube explanations. I found that this camera gave me more than I was looking for. (DISCLAIMER: I’m not paid to make this review, and I bought this camera with my own money.) I had a great experience with this cam and I wanted to help someone else that maybe looking for the same thing. Let me say right off that it is not just the camera, but the camera and the App combined makes this a very nice option. I wanted a easy to use point and shoot with quick turn around. I already have cinema cameras and I didn’t want another hassle where I had to devote a lot of attention just get my BTS shots. I took it with me, as my only camera, on a weekend getaway to Chicago to test it out, and I’m impressed. The app has very good editing tools that makes it easy for quick turn around video and images. I tried the 48 MP camera function (see images below) which is very surprising. Keep in mind the images are after a quick edit in the app. My favorite mode so far is the Time Shift. It gives a pleasing Timelapse look and feel in video form. Even though this camera has a Timelapse Mode it was the one thing I’m not impressed with. The Timelapse Mode Videos seems too fast and when you try and slow it down in the app it is no longer smooth. However, the Time Shift Mode makes up for that. Time Shift has that pleasing Timelapse look even in lowlight. So in conclusion I got the BTS camera I was looking for and also much more.

My first action camera
My first action camera. I am interested in video editing and so wanted to try out this action camera. I’ve researched many of the top brands including DJI, GOPRO, etc. After consideration for what im looking for in an action camera I chose this Insta360 Ace pro. Plus the price was right. So far the interface is buttery smooth and picture quality is magnificent. I’ve not experienced all there is with this camera but so far I’m impressed with how it works so far. Low light quality is excellent. I wished the lense was removable in case it gets damaged rather then sending it back to the mfg to fix. So far definitely recommend this camera if your looking for a good quality action camera.

Does not work as designed..
This cam is BS. After all the updates It still randomly comes up with a black screen where you have to use the 5 second shut off. it’s a waste of my time.
