Conventional heating and cooling system
Remove the jumper between Rh, Rc, or R terminals, adjust the DIP switch on the back of the thermostat to ‘Disconnect’ if you have connected both RC-wire and RH-wire to the wallplate, otherwise switch it to the ‘Connect’ side.
Heat pump (air or geothermal) with auxiliary heat
Remove the jumper between Rh, Rc, or R terminals, adjust the DIP switch on the back of the thermostat to ‘Disconnect’ if you have connected both RC-wire and RH-wire to the wallplate, otherwise switch it to the ‘Connect’ side.
Boiler or radiant system with air handler and conventional cooling or heat pump

Great Thermostat!
You can arguably say that this is the best thermostat for the price. Compare others for the size (5.125″W x 3.5″) and the features that are offered you will probably come to the same conclusion. Not to mention that you have the ability to upgrade all types of thermostats (old – without a common wire and or new systems). Not only is it a good-looking thermostat, but it also has an application which will empower you to control the temperature in your house no matter where you are. I found it way easier to configure all the settings using the application than trying to do it all on the actual screen itself. Bottomline – it’s just a hard product to beat.I recommend this product, and I would buy it again if I was ever in need of a new one. Hopefully this helps anyone that might be on the fence.

Messes Up your AC!!! DO NOT BUY!
I had this for about 3 months. It worked good until all of a sudden it shut down my AC outside. i paid hundred of dollars to have a tech come out because it was 85 degrees in my house and my AC wouldnt come on. He said this thermostat was the issue! He said they all do that! Aure enough as soon as he put a new thermostat on my AC was working! Wasted hundreds of dollars! DO NOT BUY THIS!!

Not compatible with 5G Internet
I was so excited to receive this, but was quickly disappointed. This is supposed to be a smart device but only works with 2g internet Γ°ΒΒΒ‘ I am very upset and disappointed that I need to install something else. I really liked the way this one looked and the overall use of it, but I bought it so I can use it on my phone and I can’t even do that.

Shutting AC down and not working
Had this right at a month. It looked amazing in the house. But right at day 28, the unit kept shutting ac off. Time kept jumping, 2 buttons stopped working. Luckily, the app was working so it allowed me to override the unit to turn back on. Had high hopes for this… sad

I liked it all the way until I found out it wasnΓ’ΒΒt compatible with my system. I thought I had done my due diligence by researching its compatibility prior to purchase. Learned my lesson.
