Now you don’t see it, now you do.
This drive originally didn’t show up on my desktop on my MacBook. However, it did show up in Disk Utility. The solution was to right click on the drive icon in Disk Utility and click on mount. From that point on, it showed up on my desktop and has worked fine, with fast write speeds since then.

So compact and light and practical accessories
Very impressed and happy with this drive! It really is so compact and light! This 500gb unit shows 477gb of usable storage space (expected and normal for all drives, not unique to this one). I did an initial unscientific test of transfer speed. I copied 9.2gb from my tablet’s mSD card (not even from the tablet’s internal storage) and it took about 3.5 minutes. I’m not going to judge whether this is extremely fast or slow, but IMHO this was a pretty good, acceptable result. Certainly not disappointing to me. The drive has a nice clear plastic bumper around it that does not add weight or bulk. 2 small cables are provided: usb c – usb c and a USB c – USB. Very very useful with phones/tablet and a pc, and the short length is actually a big plus in my opinion! I’m very impressed by this drive and very happy with the small footprint and extremely light weight.

Continuous bad blocks, corrupting data on the drive
I do not recommend this product.I bought it a couple of months ago and have had a lot of issues with data corruption. I will put files on this drive then within a week or two I will be unable to access those files because the data has become corrupted and unreadable. This is not a problem with my computer. I have multiple external SSD drives that do not have the same problem. I have drives that are well over five years old than never have a problem with data corruption. This is the first drive that Iâve had this problem. I canât send the drive back because I am outside of the return window. Thatâs my fault though because I kept copying files back to the drive assuming that it was an isolated incident. At this point data corruption has happened so many times that it is no longer an isolated incident. It is an ongoing problem that I cannot live with. It is not acceptable and definitely not normal to have bad blocks on your SSD drive within a week or two of owning it. It is not normal to continue to have bad blocks on a continuous basis for two months after owning the drive.I will be replacing the drive, but it will be one from a different manufacturer

Perfect for picture storage
This little thing is amazing. I use it for pictures, videos, and a lot of documents. I switched from a drive with moving parts that was old to this and I have a lot less anxiety about it dying on me. It is very fast. Would highly recommend.

Un disco externo SSD, bastante rápido, ligero, cumple y se puede llevar a donde sea. Una ventaja importante es que utiliza el protocolo USB 3.0 y que da la opción de conectarlo a un puerto C. Estoy satisfecho, espero que dure.
