A wonderful read with meaning!
In the book Hearing God’s Voice: How To Hear God In Spite Of Everyday Distractions, Economic Struggles, Spiritual Pain And Emotional Suffering, Mary Soloman writes about how to clear out all the noise and all the life distractions that can help us reconnect with God. If you are a believer, you no doubt understand how our Creator may speak to us in certain ways, whether is it to warn us of something or even to redirect our lifelong path, this report provides an eye opening methodology behind making ourselves more open in hearing His word and receiving and understanding His message. I recommend this book for anyone looking for something meaningful amidst the traffic of lifeâs challenges.

Great start of the day for me reading this book!
A great book to read for motivation and faith. It happen that I’m a great believer of God. Allowing HIM to be our guide is always in me. I like how the author motivates the reader through this book. It takes to be a strong believer to deliver God’s Words. As written in Chapter 13 of this book: God’s Promise. It is in here that I always see light in everyday. It can be good times or bad times. I believe that everything happens for a reason. We have our own plans but God’s plan must prevail. I like how the book written because it doesn’t focuses on a specific religion. It is regardless of any religion!

Reading Mary’s book gets you reflecting on inner peace and solitude. One normally doesn’t take a break in the day to reflect on these things. This book is an easy read and simple to understand. If you think this book will be above your head because you don’t know God, don’t worry. This book is written for beginners just like you.

I was very disappointed when I became aware that the book was out of line with Biblical teachings. The Bible is very clear that followers of God were/are not permitted to “follow/practice/honour” foreign Gods. No one can enter heaven without the acceptance of Jesus Christ and what was accomplished at Calvery on the cross. No mention is made of this in this book.When I saw a quote related to yoga at an early start of the book, I became aware that the author was drawing from sources outside of the Christian faith. Crystals and other mystical energies that relate to healing etc are not part of the Christian faith. I do not recommend this book to anyone who is looking for teaching related to such a serious subject as Hearing The Voice of God. The reference made to Pastor Charles Stanley is also surprising. I have watched Pastor Stanley on television programs for many years and I know without any doubt that he does not embrace or encourage the teachings of other religions/beliefs. References pertaining to meditation is strictly related to the Christian faith and the Bible in all of his sermons as well as his books. It is dangerous to think that all religions/beliefs are equal and that they will all ultimately lead to the one and same god. This is totally a lie from the devil and a warning concerning this is the least I can do to help a reader look elsewhere for help concerning this serious subject. I highly recommend the Bible (there are many available today, that are simple to understand). It will lead you to an understanding that you can trust, rely on and follow with no regrets or disappointments.

I enjoyed this book. it was quick and easy to read,; however, I wished the author would have used more scripture to endorse each communication mechanism. I got the feeling this book was written to cater to all religions and not just Christianity.

Hear from God
Being able to communicate with God through prayer is great, but being able to hear him is reassuring. I first read about hearing God in a book and I thought that is what I would like. After reading many books and speaking to many people, God has always spoken to me, I just havenât heard. This book will teach you how to hear Godâs message without distorting it and taking your own interpretation. Prayer is the centerpiece of our communication with God, so you should pray and meditate one the word; take time out of your day to spend with God and he will give you the guidance you seek. It is an extraordinary feeling when you finale hear God.

I read HEARING GOD’S VOICE For Beginners in less than 30 minutes last night. Although I do not have a problem with short books in principle I had hoped for a more thorough discussion on such a deep topic.In general I found the tips collected in this book interesting, but need to warn readers that the author does promote some new-age and mystic concepts in the book. Mantras; sending positive energy; centering yourself; and general (Buddhist style) meditation are all mentioned as methods of hearing God’s voice clearer. Scripturally speaking, these concepts are far off the mark.I would encourage the novice desiring to hear the voice of God to rather read “Hearing God” by Dallas Willard.

Reading a spiritual book like this one really makes you feel great. Although you have to quiet your mind in order to hear the voices the author is talking about. Now I didnât hear any voices at all, but still reading the book has enhanced my spiritual experience somewhat. Since the book is fairly short, you can read it in about 30 mins easily. I am not sure about you but I like reading short books because I just can’t keep up with the long ones at all.
