Lightweight and magnetically strong, effortlessly feels like part of the phone
So far so good. Only use it a couple of times. Recorded some videos from iPhone Blackmagic Cam. No issue, smooth saving. Hope it is durable for longer term use.The form factor is super great though. Light, magnetically strong, it feels like part of the phone, even though I have a case. So far so good!!!

Creative use of the magSafe feature
For some reason I thought this was wireless transfer portable HDD at first, so when it turned out that it is just a portable hard-drive with magSafe attachment I was a little disappointed to say the least. However, over the past 2 months I did find this quite useful. My wife post a lot of social media and the she had to regularly clean her storage to rotate out old content. The GiGimundo M20 Magnetic Portable SSD eliminated the need to purchase a storage subscription for her without her having to carry around a laptop. She just carry this with her and when she gets home she port all the content out, blazing fast transfer speed. It is on the expensive side for a 512GB portable HDD but it is more convenient than one without the ability to attach to magSafe.

This magnetic external drive is a lifesaver for my phone storage. I love how easy it is to just snap it on and transfer files â super fast and smooth. Love this and it’s price
Great high capacity device with great speed so I can run 4k movies off of with no issues. Heat comes from my device, not the drive. I can use it on my phone, a bonus with the magnet to hold it on the back. The included little USB wire is durable to bend at a sharp angle from the phone to the drive right on the back. Great bang for the buck indeed.

Seems good, but maybe a bit expensive
So far so good here: the magnet is strong enough to stay firmly attached to an iPhone, read rate seems to get close to the advertised 1000 MB/s, and no issues with connectivity. I havenât put it through any sort of torture tests or sustained long writes, but it hasnât given me a reason to think itâs going to have an issue.That said, $120 for half a terabyte of storage is pretty pricey, especially when you consider that this is just a run of the mill external SSD that happens to have a magnet ring worth a dollar in it. Speaking of which, you could probably just buy a magnet ring and glue it on an existing SSD enclosure and have essentially the same thing, so thatâs something to keep in mind.

Huge capacity! No extra software needed; no extra software even loaded on the disk
I canât believe 512 GB can fit in such a small item! This seems to be a really nice SSD drive. Iâm not super knowledgeable on these kinds of things, so this is a pretty non-techy take. From what I can tell, there was 0 software of any kind on this disk out of the box. It was formatted and that was it. What a nice surprise! It works great with a MacBook Pro and an iPad Pro. The iPad recognizes it right away and is simple to drag and drop files back and forth. Same is true of the MacBook, of course.I have not found that it is recognizeable on my iPhone – I have a 12 Mini. I tried connecting it directly with just a USB C to lightning cable, tried with the camera adapter that has a USB A and power attachment. Neither made the connection. Maybe Iâm just not doing something right but I can get a 64 GB SSD drive to connect to my phone.Regardless, Iâm super happy with this drive – to have that much capacity in such a small and portable item is incredible. Also, I assume the day will come when I do have a phone new enough to be able to connect directly to this drive and then thatâll be really great.

I ordered the 512GB version of this product, and it arrived the next day with Prime delivery. I began backing up my files in batches, but unfortunately, the drive suddenly stopped working. I tried connecting it to multiple devicesâincluding my MacBook, PC, and iPadâbut it wouldnât show up or respond. The tiny LED would blink just once when plugged in, then nothing.I reached out to customer service via email, and I was genuinely impressed by how responsive and helpful the team was. Since the issue couldnât be resolved remotely, they promptly sent me a replacement within two days. I truly appreciate the excellent support.As for the product itself, itâs quite sturdy and compactâabout the size of a Qi wireless charger that attaches to the back of a phone. The included cable supports super-fast data transfer, and Iâve experienced no overheating even with continuous use. Itâs sleek, pocket-friendly, and performs really well. Overall, a great product with outstanding customer service to back it up.

Di fatto anche così risulta il doppio più rapido di un SSD Sata ed è molto reattivo.La dimensione che ho preso è da 512 gigabyte ma ci sono anche modelli da 1 e 2 terabyte, dimensioni perfette per chi fa molti video e foto ma anche per chi ha una console portatile e vuole espandere lo spazio di installazione dei giochi.Ottimo prodotto, consigliato.

Ce petit SSD est peu encombrant et design.Il se distingue par un anneau magnétique compatible magsafe qui permet de le fixer au dos des smartphone (ou de leur coque) compatibles. Le SSD ne ‘pendouille’ donc pas lors de son utilisation, c’est pratique et plus sûr en mobilité.Il est compatible OTG sur les iPhone récents et est donc accessible directement depuis l’application ‘Fichier’ sous IOS par exemple. Pas besoin d’une application tierce. Les autres applications peuvent aussi y accéder (comme VLC…)Connecté à un PC, les performances sont au rendez-vous avec des vitesses de transferts de l’ordre du GO/s aussi bien en lecture qu’en écriture.Il est fourni avec un câble court USB-C.Il est un peu plus épais que certains de ses congénères, mais c’est inévitable en raison de la présence d’un aimant Magsafe.
