First day has been great, exactly what I expected. I haven’t connected it to WiFi yet, but it isn’t necessary either, it works fine without it.The unit has 3 ice cube size settings, and is designed well, it keeps the ice frozen better than my last one. The water chamber is below the ice tray, like most lower cost models, so the water is recycled to make ice.There is an alarm that goes off when the ice bucket is full, it is loud enough to hear from the neighboring room, in case you want to remove the ice. As soon as the ice is cleared, it starts making ice again, without addition intervention. The ice chamber is slightly larger than my last model, and the water chamber is also slightly deeper.The unit is easily cleaned with the self clean feature. To keep it clear of any gunk, it should be cleaned regularly. I clean mine with citric acid, it works very well to keep appliances that use water, clean.The ice so far has been clear, and tastes good, I use filtered water as well. The water chamber has a small plug in the bottom so it can be drained into a bucket or straight into the sink. The unit is quiet, it makes the same amount of noise as my last one. The unit is very good way to use, and super self explanatory.

I love this ice machine! It is smaller than my last one but it makes ice twice as fast as my last one. Not only is the ice quality excellent, but the machine is so quiet and so easy to operate. The icing on the cake is the Smart App that notifies you when the ice basket is full and also when you need to add water. I purchased some Igloo ice bags and as the ice basket fills, I dump the ice in the bag and store the ice in the freezer.Just a note, when I set up this machine, I was getting an âadd waterâ alert although the tank was full. I read that the water line can have an air pocket which would affect the sensor. I turned off the ice machine and gently tilted it back and forth. I restarted the machine and I have not received that alert again until I really did need to add water.

Great ice machine so far but with one issue
So far Iâm loving this ice machine; love the speed, love that it sends me notifications on my Apple Watch and iPhone, I have hooked it up to Alex but havenât tried it yet.People will complain about the ice not staying cold but all of these machines clearly state they donât refrigerate the ice will melt and be re-made into new ice. My issue is that once itâs starting to fill with ice some ice will gather at the sensor that tells the machine itâs filled with ice, but then you just push the ice to the back and you get ton more ice. So seems like the ice tray needed more pitch for ice to head towards the front to fix that issue.Other than that love the machine and it stopped my wife yelling at me that I use up all the ice in our fridge ice maker when I leave for work and the kids have none for school, now I just make a full batch of ice and put it in freezer ziplock bag and Iâm set for days!!!

Great Icemake, easy to use and quiet.
The GoveeLife Smart Countertop Ice Maker is just what I needed for my summer home. Light enough to travel with me and sturdy enough to make bags of ice for all our needs. It is nice looking, easy to setup and not as noisy as the other models I’ve seen other people using.

I really like this ice maker!
I was skeptical about a counter top ice maker; however, I’m a believer now! It makes ice very quickly but it tends to melt quickly. I found that if I put the ice into a single layer in a plastic zip top bag, it freezes nicely and is easy to dispense once emptied into a bowl in the freezer. It makes a gallon bag of ice per tank of water. I don’t let the ice stay in the machine until the basket fills up, rather I empty it after 2-3 batches. The instructions for cleaning and use are very simple. Of course the machine will not hold the ice so don’t expect to turn it on and walk away expecting ice to be there for hours.

Good buy for the money ice full a bit sensitive
I purchased this icemaker after a previous purchase of a competing brand turned out to be a total bust. This one Iâve had this one for almost a year now and it has worked wonderfully. I keep it in my garage, which is very dusty, but this machine holds up even in a dusty environment. My only complaint is that the âice fullâ sensor is overly sensitive, as it turns the ice machine off prematurely. But overall, a great product for the money.
