Camera is light and easy to use, and the remote makes it even easier to use especially when on a stand. The carrying case is decent, but only big enough to hold the camera and not any of the extra things that come with the camera. Battery life is actually pretty decent, and the fact that it comes with an extra battery is nice. I did end up buying a different tripod, but that was just because we needed something taller than the desktop one that came with the camera. Camera was also able to record sound pretty well without the additional microphone attachment.The biggest disappointment we had was that we bought this camera to record our wedding ceremony. When we went back to watch the video, it had only recorded 4 and a half minutes of video, which then cuts out and you can then only hear the audio of the rest of the ceremony. Not sure if there was some sort of non-obvious formatting I needed to do or if the memory card that came with the camera was faulty. There was nothing in the rather thin instruction manual that came with the camera. I did follow the instructions and formatted the memory card prior to using the camera.My suggestion to anyone that buys this camera would be to record a video of at least 10 minutes or longer as a test to make sure everything works properly prior to filming anything important. Unfortunately, we only tested it for a minute here and there and just assumed it would work for longer. The memory card was 32gbs and empty when we went to use it for the ceremony, so it should have been able to record the entire 20 minute or so ceremony video without issue. Maybe I would go so far as to say do not use the generic memory card that comes with the camera and instead buy something name brand or at least known to work properly.
