It’s military grade is awesome, ram compassity great, highly durable comes in its own super tough case only negative thing I can think of about this phone is it doesn’t have a quick charge so it takes a long time to charge that massive battery and it doesn’t have a built-in factory reset so if you do like I did & mess up your phone in order to reset it you need to plug it into a computer so it senses it then hold the power button and the volume up button at the restart menu It gets you the command line menu go to wipe and reset or factory reset and then go to the menu from there wipe all data and restart device and that bypasses the lock and wipes everything if you mess your phone up like I did Good luck finding that information online All in all I like the phone it’s good I think it could be a little cheaper but it’s a good phone, and this is the updated version for my original review until I figured out how to factory reset the phone and wipe everything to fix the damage I did from clicking on a link I shouldn’t have that was sent to me through YouTube so be careful it’s a good phone though for the price point

My old 2021 daily driver was on its last legs. I’m a heavy battery user, so first off this phone provides. I can end the day at 60% vs drained on my last one, even when it was newer.No games or high CPU usage really, just normal app and browsing.This phone is thick, but has a battery that lasts all day (or 2). So it’s worth it.No bloatware installed, just a pretty basic Android 14 which is great. Do t have 20 branded apps just taking up space and backgrounding.The screen is crisp and clear. Great sized display for most anyone. Text is readable and colors and vivid.The camera is great outdoors, and good indoors. It’s set at a default of 16gb of ram. You can increase it to 32gb (by adding +16 of swap). But that would mean using 16gb of ufs 3.1 storage for more “ram”, which is much slower than it’s chip ddr5, so no point.I do wonder if it’s actually 16, or if it’s hard locked to 8ddr5 +8 swap, but it can’t be changed.Built in storage is awesome at 512M, and has a microsd slot if you want to add another 8gb to 1tb.I do t have anything larger than 1tb to test with, but my Samsung pro 1tb worked just fine.Who needs 1.5tb on a phone? Well, my GoPro does!I can stream 4k video over wifi AC and it doesn’t struggle.One downside is not having 5G, stuck at 4g. But not a deal killer for me personally. I used 300M of my unlimited plan last month.The lack of cases or screen protectors is disappointing but will hopefully improve soon.I haven’t given it the drop test, or taken it into the pool to make sure it’s waterproof yet. I’ll wait until an emergency.I’ve had similar if brick phones and they do live up to the claims though!The screen on the back is handy if you just want a quick clock view, to check your notifications, or calendar. I haven’t found myself using all to much, but it looks cool. Gotten a few positive comments.Overall this is an awesome and rugged phone.It will add some weight to your pocket but the battery and durability is worth it.King Kong X for the win!Now please just sell me a tpu cover and glass screen protector.

Not compatible with T-Mobile Network
READ THIS REVIEW BEFORE PURCHASE. I purchased the king Kong X phone because it had everything I wanted in a phone. After transferring data from one phone to the other it kept giving me a message that there was no T-Mobile connection available. I went back to T-Mobile three times and was told it was a network problem. I spent 1.5 hours on the phone with customer assistance. The initial phone consultant couldn’t figure out what the problem was. I went all the way to a engineer. We checked the SIM card numbers, and then the IMEI number that is on the box and on the phone. I plugged it into the T-Mobile site. The phone IMEI came back incompatible,incompatible. It was actually operating on 2G which is not compatible with the networks today. it is not a real 5G phone. I found a OUKITEL W 35 which was a suitable replacement for me. Before taking the phone out of the box I ran the IMEI number on T-Mobile’s website and it was compatible. I then had to transfer the data from that phone which erased all my passwords to the new phone. After setting it up I can now make a phone call from my house. Don’t go through what I went through, find a compatible phone and run the IMEI number in T-Mobile search box to verify that the phone is what it says it is before open the box making a purchase.

Acheté pour des travaux de piscines et des scenes à tourner sous l’eau. (c’est très spécifique je sais). C’est le 3 ème de la marque que je possède (sert en tournage pour mes chefs d’équipe). Et sans doute le 5 ème téléphone que je possède depuis 10 ans. J’ai eu un caterpillar et un blackview avant ça.Globalement ce n’est pas la marque la moins cher mais c’est la plus aboutie en terme de finitions et de composants pour un téléphone incassable que j’ai repéré actuellement.Il est conçu pour encaisser pas mal de chocs mais j’en avais cassé toutefois un après une chute à moto, donc rien de magique non plus, c’est juste plus résistant que la moyenne. Ce modèle king kong semble renforcer par les plaques de métal, j’aurais bien envie de le mettre à l’épreuve mais ce serait dommage de l’abîmer inutilement. La batterie a quand même une grande autonomie et sert de station portable si besoin. Son stockage de 512 Go est également appréciable pour ceux qui ont besoin de beaucoup d’espace mais 256 me semble amplement suffisant, en sachant que ce sont les photos et vidéos qui prennent le plus d’espace.Cependant, ce téléphone présente plusieurs limites. Il est très lourd et encombrant, ce qui peut être gênant pour une utilisation quotidienne. L’appareil photo est fonctionnel mais ne produit pas des images de qualité exceptionnelle sauf pour le mode 100mp qui est plutôt satisfaisant, notamment en basse lumière. L’écran est correct sans plus, avec des couleurs un peu ternes. De plus, la réparabilité est notée 0/10, ce qui est un point noir important. J’espère que son incassabilité compense cette lacune en terme d’empreinte carbone sur le long terme.En conclusion, certes c’est un téléphone très résistant comme second téléphone de chantier ou pour une activité très spécifique. Néanmoins, il faut être prêt à faire des concessions sur le poids, la qualité photo et la réparabilité.
