Customers say
Customers find the thermostat easy to install, particularly with Frontpoint systems, and appreciate its compatibility with alarm systems and good looks. Moreover, the temperature control and functionality receive positive feedback, with one customer noting its compatibility with single-zone AC/heat systems. However, customers disagree on the ease of control, with some reporting a 4-degree offset. Additionally, accuracy is a concern, with multiple customers reporting inaccurate temperature readouts.

Make sure your service provider will allow you to add this to your system.
Starting with the Good. Easy to install and program, do set the Swing at +- 1F, the overshoot at 1 or 2 and the smart humidity at auto.Since my wife and I both work varying schedules, we like the convenience of setting the HVAC (and everything in the Alarm panel) from anywhere in the world.BEFORE you buy and install this, make sure your service provider will allow you to attach it to your system. I had to go all the way to their corporate office because my service provided would not install it (said they do not have an HVAC specialist). It is a simple Z wave attachment and once again, it works great.

Works great
IΓ’ΒΒve used these in 4 different houses. I was not successful with a multizone Honeywell, but does work great with single zone AC/heat and I just installed two of them with a two wire furnace. There are plenty of YouTube video showing how to do it. They just learn in immediately with no trouble and appear in the app.Pro tip: take a picture of the current wiring before you disconnect and try to mount this unit in case it doesnΓ’ΒΒt work and you need to reconnect the original unit!

Nice smart thermostat for alarm.com users.
Have had this installed for almost 2 months now and it has worked great. I have a second one ready to install once our remodel is done so that will really be the test. I haven’t gotten to take full advantage of the programability through alarm.com but it is a very nice feature. Huge bonus that these are half the cost of a Nest since I have to have 2 of them. If you have alarm.com and are looking for a thermostat this is a no brainer. Note that you cannot program anything at the thermostat, it is all done through the alarm.com site or app. All you can do at the thermostat is change the temp and turn the heat/cool on or off. It’s a very sleek unit and look great on the wall compared to a traditional thermostat. One thing I will not be able to utilize is the secondary sensors. I don’t have zoned heat/air so I’m not sure how they expect this feature to work for most people. Seems to me that if a certain room is at a certain temp, and you have a sensor in there to adjust the thermostat, it will affect your entire home. If you are building new and can put in electric dampers, this would be a great feature though.***Update 11/2016:My thermostat stopped using power from my HVAC unit and was eating up batteries every few days. I contacted Low Voltage Supply and they told me to ship it back to them ASAP b/c the 1 year warranty was almost up. They started to the return to the manufacturer and sent me a new thermostat last week after the manufacturer determined it was malfunctioning. FANTASTIC customer service.

Easy to use & integrates perfectly with Alarm.com
I bought this elegant device a years back so that we could monitor & regulate our home temperature remotely. This devices fits that bill perfectly. While there aren’t many controls on the device (on/off, heating, cooling, both), it looks very sleek and elegant. Most of the fine tuning is going to be done on Alarm.com, via the many devices it works with (computer, tablet & phone apps). There is a high degree of adjustments available from within the app. You can set your daily schedules for both heating & cooling, fan control, set points, etc. You can pair this thermostat with a separately available temperature sensor. Instead of just reading the temp where the thermostat is, it can use the remote sensor to adjust the overall temp. Very helpful if you want, say your bedroom, to be the main point of raising or lowering the temp.

Works perfectly with 2gig Go!Control
Can’t say enough good things about this unit. I’ll do a detailed review in a few days after exploring all the features.UPDATE: We’ve had one installed upstairs for several weeks and ordered another one for downstairs about a week ago.1) I like that we can lock the kids out of changing the temp from the unit and only control it from our phones. No more discovering they set the thermostat at 63 and took off for the weekend.2) Being able to program (up to 4 scenes) from the phone is great. I hate standing at the thermostat trying to do that (and there isn’t even an option for that on this unit). The interface is VERY user friendly.3) The app interface is easy to read and understand but it does take a little bit to get the hang of (maybe that’s just my middle aged mom brain talking though).4) There is no “intuitive” learning. One thing that turned us off about the Nest was how it would predict temp settings based on motion in the home. This doesn’t work well for us. We spend large amounts of time out of the room where the thermostat is located. This unit doesn’t provide me with that extra layer of frustration.5) $105 each is what we paid for these units. That’s in line with other thermostats with wifi connectivity yet integrates with our Alarm.com app (and is MUCH cheaper than a $250 Nest).I have only one complaint so far, sometimes the app hangs up and in order to change the program or settings it will be necessary to completely close out the app and restart it. I am hopeful the debs will rectify this soon. It is an annoyance and why I give the unit 4 stars instead of 5.Overall, it has been a great investment for us and fits nicely with our home automation goals. I would buy it again. We have a 2gig Go!Control (z-wave)

This is my second of these units I have installed in my houses. Have tried 3 other brands and come back to simple easy to read and install. Works well with heat pump and furnace. Have both full electric and gsa/electric units with heat pumps and works accurately on both. Well built, nice looking and easy to use. Highly recommended.

This thermostat is pretty much junk. It’s like the temperature sensor is not open to the room or tucked inside the plastic somewhere. My AC will run for hours and the house will be freezing before the temperature on the thermostat starts to drop. Same goes for the furnace. I changed the overshoot and start up to only 0.25 degrees each and it’s still the same junk. Can’t return it either. Would not waste my money on this. I will prob eat the $200 and order a nest.
