Awesome Idea for Long Trips
This thing is AWESOME! I had a CarPlay box before and it was a luck of the draw type situation every time I plugged it in. Iâd have to jiggle the cord, turn it all sorts of ways just to get it to connect. But this and my GLA250 are a perfect match. I bought another FireTV stick just to take with me in my car! It was an easy setup once plugged in properly and Iâm very well pleased with my purchase.

Audio and video out of sync
Did work on my 2025 Silverado. But the audio and video was so far out of sync that the fire stick couldn’t fix it. Unfortunately I had to return it.

Frustrating
I literally have to plug in and unplug six or seven times before it will connect and sometimes it will do it right away. Great idea, but this thing is considerably frustrating.

Easy roadtrips
This multimedia adapter has made our family road trips easier. It really is so handy to be able to hook up a Fire TV Stick into my vehicle’s wired CarPlay system. It was a true plug & play setup – I plugged in the adapter and the Fire TV Stick and it worked with no configuration at all.Now, on long drives my kids can watch their shows and movies. I just plug the adapter into my car USB port and the Fire TV Stick in, and within seconds we have all our streaming services hooked up. Picture quality is good, and streaming is usually smooth so long as we have a decent cell hotspot connection.

Works Great and Perfect for the Car!
This device works flawlessly with my 2024 Hyundai Elantra and is a perfect addition for road trips or passing time while waiting in the carâwhether during grocery runs, doctor appointments, or similar situations. The picture quality is outstanding, and once WiFi is set up on the Fire TV Stick, itâs essentially plug-and-play.Whatâs even better is that itâs not just limited to the Fire TV Stickâit also works perfectly with the Roku Stick and Roku Stick 4K. I absolutely love it!
