Great for Visual Schedules!
Awesome device at Govee’s high standards and integration. I have an autistic son, who needs visual schedules to get through his day, and this device allows us to dynamically generate visual reminders with fun graphics. Easy to use, and with the onboard AI, you can generate anything you need. Amazing!

It does what it’s design to do…. But
The Govee app makes this device a bit tedious. When I select this device the load time for all the settings is noticeably longer and that’s to turn it on, if I want to select the appropriate scene, it’s feels a bit like a chore to sift through what I want and what music to play. This makes me want to use it less frequently than what I expected my usage to beThe DIY is a nice touch but suffers from poor filtering options. I keep seeing the exact featured shares since the product released which makes me think that no one really uses thisSome features I would hope would be seen is that this device can play sounds from Govees scenic DreamView. I don’t have compatible models that plays music so my only option is my phone which I barely decide to enable.Otherwise, the device is bright and the scenes that are offered is nice for a setup. Rushed to market.
It’s really buggy. Time doesn’t set with iPhone. I was told to expect a patch, which was a few days ago. Sometimes, it doesn’t sync up with the app, and I have to restart. I am a huge Govee fan, but I am returning to buggy. Once everything is working, I may reconsider.

If you just want a basic none customizable tablet sure get this. But it seems like the Divoon is the brand to get for a pixel pad.I tried to custom making my own clock and you have no options to do anything. The resolution is subpar, it canât connect to most govee sensors

Fun pixel display for limited sports scores, stock info, GIF art.
I wanted a pixel screen for my mancave to display sports scores and stock prices and this seemed to fit the bill. It does those two things, although, the sports scores are limited to NBA and NFL games and is a bit slow in refreshing the score live. Similar with stock prices, it is a bit slow to refresh. You can also take GIFs and make your own art and string together clips with 8-bit sounds to have some cool 80s pixelated art on the wall. It is a neat little device that you can control with the Govee app as well as through Alexa, although, a bit limited with the latter. I like it for what it is and hope that with future updates, there will be improvements and additionally functionality to display various things. Very easy to set up, hang on wall. Even with a discount, still found it a bit pricey for what it is, but I have no regrets.
