I absolutely LOVE this little gem! The iDPRT thermal printer is lightweight (about 1lb), compact enough to fit in a medium purse or backpack, and insanely convenient for someone like me who needs quick black-and-white prints without the hassle of ink. It even comes with 10 sheets of thermal paper so you can start printing right away.As a first-time thermal printer user, I had a short learning curve feeding the paper in straight and shiny side upâbut even so, I had a 50% success rate on my first six pages. Thatâs not bad for a beginner! Once you get the hang of it, it becomes second nature.The print quality is surprisingly crisp, as you can see in the coloring page I printed (photo included). Itâs perfect for things like Amazon return labels, basic documents, and yesâeven art!There are a few things to keep in mind:   â¢Â   It only prints in black, white, and grayscale.   â¢Â   Donât leave printed pages in a hot carâtheyâll fade like a receipt.   â¢Â   Paper is thermal and slightly pricier than standard paper, but itâs not outrageous.   â¢Â   I wouldnât rely on it for legal documents unless itâs just a placeholder print.This is a dream for anyone needing mobile printsâreal estate agents, contractors, students, travelers, or anyone living in a small space. To start , this is my very first portable printer. The build quality of this printer seems to be pretty decent. I really like its small form factor to where it fits easily into my computer backpack. The instructions were straightforward and easy to understand. Setting it up and connecting it to my ipad pro was fairly easy. The only thing that I don’t like is the fact that you have to buy special paper instead of just regular printer paper. Other than that it has been working great for me in short times that i’ve had it.
