She LOVES it!
My daughter is 10. She has lived in the same room her whole life with the same paint color and the same chandelier hanging from the same spot day after day after day. So I got this. I thought she’d be super happy and excited. She wasn’t. She has apparently stared at the light so much in her life that she has grown a sentimental attachment to it, something that I hadn’t anticipated.I told her about this light and showed her the box when it arrived. She said “nope.” I finally convinced her to just hang it to see what it would look like and then I’d put the old light back up. Let me just say: the old light isn’t going back up. She LOVES this new light! It has so many cool features.1) It has multiple LED shades for the main light, and is totally dimmable. The light is BRIGHT! She rarely has it turned all the way up.2) It has an upward-facing light above the unit that displays full RGB lighting. It has a bunch of preset modes and modes that dance with your music (app on your phone required).3) The lighting pattern is totally programmable. Pick whatever color you want and choose where you want it. This is a crazy level of freedom I’ve not experienced with a ceiling light before.4) The top RGB light is an amazing night light. Where it’s programmable and WIFI enabled, I can put it on a routine and have it automatically turn on/off.Yeah, we’ll have to get rid of that old light for sure.

Easy setup into Home Assistant
I grabbed this to replace an old low profile light in my bedroom and this was a great upgrade.So the build quality on the light is better than I expected but feels right for spending over 60$ on the light. After my old light was down this only took a few minutes thanks to how it’s setup. The locking base installs into the fixture easily and they provide lever style connectors to affix the wires. When you’re placing the light on the fixture housing you’re going to turn it, it’ll stop, and you’ll want to turn it a little more past that to seat the light fully.After it was connected and I powered the light on I got this connected into my smart home super quick. Adding the light to SmartLife was easy, then my Home Assistant picked it up and converted it to local access. This setup gives me near full control and allows me to enter it into my automations so I can raise the lights in the morning to help with my alarm going off. I will say the light has been connected for over 2 weeks now without losing connection once. That counts as pretty stable in my experience and I’m happy with it.

Non-functioning Stay Away!
Stay away from this product. Complete waste of time. Ordered (3) lights, not a single one worked. No signs of damage to the shipping box, the device boxes, and or the units themselves. Ordered lights from a different company next day, working great.

Great light but install could be better
This RGB ceiling light is super bright at full power and offers great customization. I especially love the backlight feature, you can set it to any primary color or even a chasing rainbow mode. I keep the red backlight on at night and it works perfectly as a night light. It also saves the last setting when turned off, which is really convenient.The included remote needs to be paired, but it’s not complicated, just make sure the light switch has only been on for 3 to 30 seconds before attempting to pair. A wall mount for the remote was a great bonus.However, installation wasn’t ideal. The mounting bracket is plastic and felt flimsy, and the screws didnât fit my standard junction box. It also twists on and off in the opposite direction from what you’d expect. I wish the bracket were metal instead of plastic, but it doesnât require a ground wire (just be sure to cap your existing one leading from the box). Once installed, though, it performs beautifully.Overall, Iâm really happy with it and plan to get more for other rooms. Its a solid 4.5 star!

Plenty bright and was easy to install
Plenty bright, and was simple to install if you have even minor wiring experience. Three light color settings between warm light and daylight. My only concern is how long it will last because I will have to replace the entire setup when the light stops working, but that is not an issue as of yet. If I get a year+ out of it I will be happy for the price.One last note, the remote was not paired, and needed to be paired to work, but was easy to do based on the instructions provided.
