High quality, easy setup, and fast speeds.
After much research I decided this was the correct router for my home. The set up was quick and easy with the Nighthawk app. The app works well and allows you to see who is on your network. It more than doubled my WiFi speed over my old outdated router. It is worth the price.

The best I have ever had!
As someone who relies heavily on stable and fast internet, Iâve been thoroughly impressed with the NETGEAR Nighthawk BE6500 Wi-Fi 7 Router (RS200). The dual-band Wi-Fi 7 technology delivers remarkable speedsâperfect for streaming, gaming, and handling multiple devices all at once. The coverage is excellent, easily reaching every corner of my home without a hitch. Setting it up was a breeze thanks to the Nighthawk app, and the built-in security features like NETGEAR Armor give me added peace of mind. While it doesnât include the 6GHz band that tri-band routers have, its performance on the 2.4GHz and 5GHz bands more than makes up for it. Overall, itâs been a great investment for upgrading my home network and improving everyday connectivity!

Fantastic as advertised!
Just recently picked up the RS200 and wow! Our speed and connectivity skyrocketed since installing. The range is great and it works as advertised! Upgraded from an ASUS gaming router and that thing doesnât hold a candle to this nighthawk. Big bang for your buck!

Great coverage area, reliable connection, good price
Overall, a good router. One of the only electronic things I ever bought that actually worked out of the box. Installation and setup was very easy with the Nighthawk app from my Android tablet. I have not had to access the router as administrator, it actually worked fine, first time. I have a 1 Gbit service and I get that speed up and down. Fantastice coverage, I get good service in my backyard, garage, basement and driveway. A couple of small things prevented 5 stars — first, if my internet service winks out for some reason, the router will not auto-recover, must be powered down for hard reset and second, if internet is out for any reason, the router will not work within our household AND I cannot access as admin either by Nighthawk app or via the common “192.168.1.1” or Netgear’s “routerlogin.net”.

Absolutely an upgrade in all ways
I was concerned about coverage as we have a 3200 squ foot house, two floors, and my old router had large and i mean Large antennae. This has even better coverage! The speeds on both upstairs TVs increased! my pixel phone which supports wifi 7 doubled in speed to 1500 Mbit. 2.5 Gbit ethernet port meant my desktop (wired) doubled (almost) from 890 to 1600.There is one possible setup “gotcha”! – they want you to use the Nighthawk app on your phone. It works great, but there is a stage where the router downloads new firmware and reboots. *Your phone will probably automatically switch to use CELL data when it detects wifi going away briefly! This means after the router reboots, your phone will say it cant find it. Just turn off cell data, or manually reconnect to the router, and boom youre back in business.Tech on this is A+, and setup is easy!

Great capability
I needed a router to get back to various rooms in a condo. I had a Google Nest, which did not work very well. The Nighthawk works great with speeds 3x of the Google Nest in my back office. Easy setup and good utilities.

5GHz DOES NOT WORK. Do not buy!
I installed this less than a month ago and I’ve been regretting it ever since. The 5GHz band does not work at all. I’ve configured it and confirmed it should be broadcasting. 2.4 and 6GHz works without issue but 5 is simply not there. I happen to be a network engineer and have an Ekahau Sidekick handy. I can confirm without a shadow of a doubt that the signal isn’t there dispite the router showing it’s online. My first call to netgear was over an hour long, as the tech stumbled his way through the basic troubleshooting steps. I had already done them previously, but I understand they have to do what they have to do to get on with the process. So after the hour long call with no resolution, they stated that they “need to give it a week and see if it changes.” I reluctantly agreed to go along so I can just get through the process. Wouldn’t ya know it, a week later the problem didn’t magically fix itself so I called back Netgear. This time I had an hour of my life wasted by a extremely rude and condescending level 2 tech who insisted on doing all the same troubleshooting steps we did on the first call. At the end of the hour and being no closer to fixing the issue , he stated he’d have to transfer me again to a level 3 tech. It’s pretty clear at this point the router is defective and no amount of reboots or resets is going to fix it, so I asked if we can just replace it. He said “No we cannot replace it as this is not a known issue.” When I asked to speak with a supervisor, he said he’d transfer me and then my call was dropped. At this point I have a expensive and defective router that is just over a month old, have had two hours of my life wasted by the worst customer service I’ve ever experienced and I’m no closer to having this resolved. It was my hope that Netgear would do the right thing and replace it now that I can’t return it to Amazon. No such luck.I STRONGLY urge anyone looking at this router to not only go with a different model, but go with another manufacturer as well. Netgear has really been absolutely terrible. Cisco and Asus both have better options.
Not as described. Ordered 6mm pin and these are 5 mm they’re too small. –
Great router, long range, setup til some time
Great router, a few glitches seeing it up and had to restart the mobile app several times to get it to work… but it’s a great fast router with long range.
