Great Laptop at a Great Price. I would purchase from this company again.
I purchased this Dell Latitude 5520 laptop to replace an older Intel 4th Generation ASUS laptop which served me well for many years. With Windows 10 reaching End of Life status later this year it was time to upgrade to something that was newer, faster, had more RAM, and a Solid State Drive.Buying refurbished is the best solution for me. You can still get great performance at a reasonable price without buying new. I’ve replaced Windows 10 on my 3 other Dell desktop machines with Linux. There was no reason to pay extra to buy a refurbished machine with Windows 11 since I plan to replace the OS.This Dell laptop has an Intel 11th generation processor (which could support Win 11 if you wanted), plenty of RAM, and a decent size SSD for my needs. It took a couple of weeks to receive my new laptop but I was very pleased with the overall condition. The machine was packaged well. A test report was included to show that the laptop had been evaluated before shipment.The case, screen, keyboard, AC adapter, and battery were all in excellent shape. There was only one minor issue with the Wireless Network / Bluetooth card. The one provided was an older generation than the one specified on Amazon’s web page. I contacted the company about this discrepancy via Amazon. I received a reply and a satisfactory resolution in one day. I couldn’t ask for more.Once I complete testing this laptop with Win10 Pro (included) I will reconfigure this machine to run on Linux. I am very happy buying through the Amazon Renewed Store.

It immediately did a Win11 upgrade after booting. Only supports UEFI booting. The shell is smooth plastic, so if you tend to hold a closed laptop dangling from one hand you’ll want to grab along the hinge side.

Product specifications said FHD display with 1920×1080 resolution. Unfortunately it was 1366 x 768 resolution. Laptop received was in great condition, but display resolution is very important for me. So I have to return it. If it’s possible to have a FHD Dell Latitude 5520, please conract me, I want one.
