Works well with Apple TV
I wanted this to work with my Apple TV. Plugged it in, paired with the Apple TV and it just worked. Volume works with the Apple TV and doesn’t use the TV sound. After about 5 minutes, the Bar turns off and sound goes back to the TV. When you turn it back on, it relinks to the Apple TV.Base is good, and dialog also works well to make it easier to hear people.Dynamic range is good. Overall very happy with the purchase.Recommended.

What I wanted and expected
I was able to attach my older wired sub, adjust the bass levels, and get just what I was hoping for, a balanced sound that works well for both music and movies. Could use a tweeter for a center channel, but very few soundbars less than 30″ have one, or have the upfiring speakers necessary for a real Atmos experience. So, when the price fell to the low 200’s which made it a very, very good buy, By the way, very easy to set up.

Works like a charm
After unboxing I connected this to my Samsung S95C television and found that I could not use my AV receiver as a pass through and had to disconnect it for the soundbar to work. But once that issue was resolved it connected automatically to the television. I reconnected my devices to my Amazon fire TV cube to eliminate the AV receiver and it was a done deal. The overall sound is better than the stereo speakers I was using for watching television. If you happen to want to use the Klipsch app try the connect plus so you can fine tune your speaker. The connect version didn’t do diddly.

Strong soundbar that even does a good job with dialog and music
This sub has small dimensions, but itâs heavy for its size. The bar has better bass than other bars in the price range but for the best dynamics you will want to use a sub. I use a KLIPSCH C-310 ASWI wireless capable sub. I use a wired connection though. With the suv doing the heavy lifting, the soundbar speakers handle the miss and highs very well. If you want a basic setup that still can handle some dynamic sound reproduction get this bar and grab a sub. This small setup will be music to your ears. The hdmi arc connection Iâm able to use the tv remote and the bar remote stays in a drawer. The Klipsch app gives control of bass and treble. This bar is is nearly perfect-my only knock is no phono input. But I havenât been listening to my vinyl anyway. Iâm happy with the purchaseâ¦

Klipsch flexus core 100 – Not ready for release, IR remote issues
What a bad experience with Klipsch Flexus core 100 soundbar. After having an Onkyo LST 1 soundbar for years, when it burned out I was happy to see Onkyo team up with Klipsch for soundbar. Set up flexus via optical cable and quickly discovered that there was no way to control soundbar with my cable remote. Tech support sent me a file to update via usb. The first file sent would not open, the second file attempted to do the update but failed. After update failure the soundbar was stuck at high volume 38 and was frozen with no controls or remote response. klipsch apparently does not support the optical out, they ship the unit with a non working IR, they want me to use hdmi arc , but I told them I dont have the hdmi to spare, need for other devices. I asked them to send me a replacement unit with the correct update installed and I would return my defective unit. This was too much for Klipsch to accomodate, so I returned the unit for a refund. Klipsch does not stand behind their product, they blame the customer for using optical, blame the customer for not performing the usb update correctly when they provided the file. Provided no step by step soSolution to remedy. Im back to square one searching for a new soundbar. Thanks for wasting my time Klipsch.

Love it!
This sound bar is way more than I expected. The 100 delivers amazing movie and music sound. I bough the matching sub and together theyâre terrific. It was easy to connect to my TV in just a few minutes. I also like the Bluetooth capability to play music through my phone. This is a quality product, I recommend it.

Frustrated – and yes, I feel somehow “cheated.”
NEW INFORMATION: Wait a minute! I read that Klipsch has just lowered the price of the 100s by $70. Not fair, Klipsch! ! How about a rebate for those of poor folk who ordered at the former price? Eh? (I know, I know – I dream big. . .)As to “frustrated?” Well, I’ve been trying to balance out what I’ve referred to as “thin and tinny” sound from my new and “sorry I bought it” 100 soundbar. For many years, as a reporter, I reviewed musicians, their live performances, and more important here, a vast array of music playback systems.Yes,I reviewed the fine Onkyo amplifiers/receivers. And yes, I reviewed several models of Klipsch speakers – as I remember labeling them “excellent, but a bit crisp for my liking. Well, that “crispness” sure did migrate to the 100 soundbar! But to the present. . . After days/nights of tweaking, I finally got the soundbar to where pianos actually sounded more like “pianos.” And although the movie dialogue still suffers from some degree of distortion, even that’s a bit better. New settings? coming up.First – I have a nice, tight, 10-inch woofer. Increased the volume just a tad, but more important, raised the crossover from my usual 80 to about 105 db. Took some of the “mud” off the soundbar. Then, using the Klipsch app on my cell phone, I left the bass at 0, but hiked the mid-range up 2 points, and the highs DOWN 3 points. Much, much better. Pianos in my beloved classical collection sounded fairly accurate, if still a bit on the “thin” side.Still working – still disappointed – but hopeful. Now – back to my original review. . . . .Klipsch had a pleasant surprise for me. I’d ordered the new Flexus CORE 100 soundbar from Amazon – and when the box came I was immediately impressed. In my many years of online ordering, seldom has a product – especially an electronic one – come as well-packed as the Klipsch soundbar. Very impressive!Well, I wasted little time in connecting it to my 59-inch Samsung “smart” TV set. New HDMI cable to use the recommended “eARC” plugs. The darned soundbar was So Well Made! Again – I was really impressed. Then I set all the recommended points on the TV set – and fired up a movie. The soundbar is pretty simple – you have either “Movie” or “Music” settings on the remote. Obviously, I set it on “movie.”The movie I chose had all the hi-res, hi-tech attributes – and I thought, well, this has gotta be mind-blowing. Wrong. Oh, the movie sounded sorta OK, but where was the surround – the stereo – the full sound? I’d connected a wired subwoofer, as well, so I expected a bigger, well, “bang” for my buck. The sound? A bit thin and almost “tinny,” with muddy lower range, though very clear high frequencies. Not a hint of “surround,” and the “stereo separation” was, uh, ahem, not happening.I first “chatted” then called, then Emailed the very nice folk at Klipsch – and got conflicting suggestions. In the end, it was determined that, while I had all the connections right, I was expecting too much from the Flexus 100. It’s only 28 inches wide, and the one nice chap said to get “anywhere decent” stereo separation I’d have to draw my viewing/listening chair up within at least four feet of the screen. Not – NOT – happening. And oh, yes – the “music” setting? At first, I could not tell the difference, then I realized that in the music setting there seemed to be even less stereo. BIG SIGH.Here comes the bottom line: if you have a small room, and can sit close to your TV, using the 100 will be, while not “great,” at least fairly good. Klipsch, on the other hand, would very much like you to spend even more money on a pair of its surround speakers – which, I’m told, WILL give better stereo, and the highly-touted “Dolby Atmos” spacial sound “thing.”The little 100 can’t be blamed for less than theater-level sound – the front-firing “tweeters” are only about 2 1/4 inches across – and here – SIZE MATTERS.I’ve been an audiophile user/reviewer for more than 60 years – and have given all-positive, even glowing, reviews of both Klipsch and the amplifier manufacturer, Onkyo. I wish I could continue in that vein with the 100 -but it simply needs some help to achieve above-average sound.Still – do I recommend it? Yep. If you have a smallish room, a modest-size TV, and use the Klipsch plus app on your cell phone to “tweak” the sound. (it works – but not very much)I know, I know – why didn’t I buy the more impressive Klipsch 200? Simple: it’s way, way too huge for my room/tv/setup.And finally – why didn’t I return the Klipsch to Amazon? B L U S H – because I stupidly tossed most of the packing material/boxes. Some people never learn. . . . .
