A step up in controller gaming!
This was the first time I have soldered something, and it was considerably easy! One tip I would like to give is that you should use a low melting solder when desoldering with either bismuth or lead solder (I used leaded). The sticks are very high quality and move a bit smoother than the original, making them better if you want to move them around quicker. Clicking them down is smooth and tactile, which is good. Hoping to not get stick drift any time soon, 10/10!

The sticks arrived nicely packed with screwdriver, pry tool, and tweets. You get the hall effect pots and new sticks (which look and feel like OEM sticks.Install wasn’t super easy due entirely to the non-leaded solder Sony uses. I’ve only been soldering for a week though so the difficulty I had may be due to lack of skill. That said, I still had to crank my soldering station (Weller 1010) to the max of 850F just to get the existing solder to melt.I took one old stick out by cutting each leg into its own piece, then heating up the solder and pulling the piece out through the other side. Cleaned up after with solder wick. I got the other stick out using a cheap solder sucker and that worked great, but I still had to cut the old sticks up. Once I got the old pots out though, install was a breeze. Just make real sure you have the new sticks installed fully and flush to the board. Once I put everything back together I used the website mentioned in the video tutorial and it worked like a champ. Tested the controller thoroughly and everything works perfect.I’d highly recommend these if you have a soldering station and even a small bit of skill with it.

Great upgrade for controller lag issues!
Bought 2 sets of these on two separate occasions. Highly recommended!. Make sure to calibrate the TMRs after you reassemble your controller! ( check out Sossâs YouTube videos on how to ). Getting less than 4% error on each analog after calibration. When testing on COD settings to find dead zones, I can move the scale all the way down to 1 or 2 sensitivity and there is no drift at all! Highly recommend. The tools included are not cheap quality!

Great Little Kit – Very Professional
Love the fact that tools were included! Very valuable in replacing faulty PS5 joysticks. So far, Hall Effect sticks are working very well in the 3 controllers that were repaired.

Sadly… it is now worse
I installed the first one and it worked with no drift for almost a week, although I noticed sometimes the stick gets stuck a little bit when I move it all the way to the right but I was able to play, in less than a week it started doing something weird, I move it all the way to the left and on the screen it takes the opposite direction, it moves all the way to the right, so I said lucky me, this one was defective, so I decided to replace it, again then when I tested the new one, it was even worse, drifts all the way to the left and when I move the stick it gets stuck, I am going to have to buy from another brand

Purchase at your own risk
This was my first response: “They Are Better than the OEM Sticks, more responsive, one of 6 came defective”However, after a few weeks, 2 of my customers complained about the sticks getting stuck or the button being really difficult to press. In total, 3 of 6 sticks were damaged in a very short time, and I had to reinstall the sticks from another brand.

Great replacement sticks!
I used these to replace my original sticks in my PS5 controller and these worked flawlessly! I could have have had a better experience with these. Just make sure to calibrate the sticks and save the settings after you install them. Also double check that your solder connections aren’t touching anything else to save for future headaches.

Received the parts in a box and did the repairs quite easily. The video posted by the seller (and others) do walk you through the repair process quite nicely. I do have a background soldering/desoldering electronic parts and this came as no challenge for me. Probably more work taking apart the unit than the repairs itself. After doing the install, ran the calibration tests, confirmed the new switches were good and validated playing a few games on the PS5. If/when the rest of my controllers start to exhibit the same issue, I’ll buy this kit again from the same seller.

First of all great YouTube tutorial, and I loved the 3 ways to install the kit! Definitely take your time when installing these and they should come out perfect. After calibration the circularity test wasnât a problem with ~3% error rate. These sticks do have a little bit of jitter which is to be expected but your PS5 will filter it out and isnât an issue. The included tweezers were very handy for holding wires when soldering. I didnât use the screwdriver as I already had a precision screwdriver set. Overall great price, great delivery and nothing was broken, definitely recommend.
