3rd time really is the charm!
This was my 3rd attempt at getting a phone for my son (1st was in unacceptable condition from a different seller, 2nd was “damaged while preparing for shipping” from yet another seller). This one is pretty much perfect. No major scratches, screen and camera are flawless, battery life is exceptional, easily activated to my carrier (Xfinity Mobile). Great deal for the price!He is switching from a Galaxy S9, which would be lucky if he didn’t have to charge before lunch. Now, at 7:45pm, he’s been on it all day, and just hit 50%. Much faster and snappier then his old device.Will definitely keep them in mind next time someone in the family needs an upgrade!

Everything appeared to work, except the speaker.
Phone looks decent, rated excellent but there was a little bit of wear and tear on the body. Screen looked perfect and I was satisfied with the purchase until I got the phone setup and realized the speaker was blown. Music and sounds cause it to rattle and buzz and can’t hear people when on calls. Seller approved return no problem, just bummed I have to try and gamble on another refurb. I’ve bought refurbished phones off Amazon for nearly 10 years and it used to always be a good deal, recently I’ve had to return multiple phones because they were either rated incorrectly or were not in fact fully working phones.

Another great “Renew” bargain
I’m not reviewing the phone, a thousand of them out there on the intertubes.Just reporting that it came in pristine condition and works perfectly after a month. I suspect that a lot of Renew products are really NOS. New, old stock. Leftovers that didn’t sell when newer models came out. Samsung or whomever sells them in lots to people like this seller who then re-boxes and markets them. This even came with a power brick, which even Samsung doesn’t supply. And a screen protector.

I love this phone but.. NO microSD slot 🙁
I had been using this phone for may be six months. I love this phone but.. No microSD card slot. :(. I travel a lot and I take lots of video and pictures. And I have to move the videos and images to my computer, to make some room for more video and images. That is why 2 and 1/2 star rating from my side. High quality images, and videos need more storage room and do not know why Samsung removed MicroSD card slot. Well, other then that, phone is nice and so far no issues. Of yea.. couple of time phone was places in my laptop bag where water bottle space is, and it was raining and when I reached car and charging cable connected, it gave me a warning that charging disabled as there is moisture detected on cable. Well it was not cable but the phone’s charging slot may have couple of drops from rain..Well I cleaned it up and it was all fine after that. But that was noticeable as it happened 2-3 times.On my travel out of country, I tried to use eSim card once and it did not work. In a week I will be on another tour and I am going to try it one more time, this time eSim vendor help is also promised. So let us see how eSim works. I will post it here for anybody interested in useing eSim to EU.
