Works great and good value
So far I’m amazed at how well this works. I’m using it with a fire stick in a 2024 Accord. My one and only complaint is my carplay takes over sometimes and I don’t know how to switch back to HDMI without resetting the system.

Audio going out
Maybe itâs me doing something wrong but whenever I connect the fire stick to this, the audio will randomly stop but the video is still playing. Not sure how to fix that issue. Clarity is good and does work well besides that. Just got it and day 1 was having this issue.

This 3-in-1 car adapter feels very good after trying it. This product is mainly used to connect to the car system and supports wireless use. It is very suitable for people like me who like to listen to music or navigation while driving. The overall experience makes me very satisfied. Let me talk about my feelings below.First of all, this adapter is very small in appearance and has a strong wire. It does not take up any space in the car. The cable is also very durable. The braided design feels textured and can be bent several times without any problem. It is very simple to connect the car machine and the mobile phone. Just plug in the interface and it will automatically pair in a few seconds. It is very convenient to operate. I use it to connect to my mobile phone, and the navigation and music can play smoothly. The screen display is clear, and it is not difficult to see the road while driving. It also has an HDMI interface, which can be connected to a monitor. Occasionally, it is connected to the car screen to watch videos, and the effect is also very good. The only thing to note is to take a look at the instructions when using it for the first time. The pairing steps are simple but must be followed in order. After using it for a few days, I found that it runs very stably, there is no disconnection, the navigation switches quickly when driving, and the music switches will not freeze. The packaging is very solid, and it also comes with a conversion head, which adds to its practicality.

The ByteWave Wireless CarPlay Adapter is one of the more interesting adapters Iâve tried. The standout feature here is its HDMI pass-through. This lets you feed an HDMI signal into your CarPlay-compatible screenâdefinitely a unique trick. Of course, check your local laws around screen usage before you even think about watching anything while driving. As for CarPlay itself, it works well. Connection was quick on my iPhone 14 Pro, and everything ran smoothly. Audio is decent, and touch response holds up fine. Like most wireless CarPlay adapters, thereâs a slight delay when skipping tracks or switching apps, but nothing deal-breaking.Build quality feels solid. The braided cable and aluminum trim give it a nice, premium feel. It also comes with a USB converter to cover different car setups. While the adapter isnât the smallest out there, itâs still compact enough to stash away neatly.ð What I liked:* HDMI pass-throughârare and handy* Quick CarPlay connection* Solid, premium build with braided cable* USB converter includedð What I didnât like:* Slight lag with media controls* Slightly larger than some adaptersð¡ Final Thoughts:A clever option if you want both wireless CarPlay and HDMI in your car. Just use the HDMI wisely.

I will keep this one short and sweet:The product page was only labeled “for”, had “1” as the product description, and only had a single zoomed-in image of what ended up being just the corner of the device. [At the time of re-writing this, the product page is still incomplete]I was curious what kind of electronic gizmo it could be, so I ordered against my best judgment. Turns out it is a device to play multimedia in your car.So the thing is, I do not own a car, so I unfortunately wont be able to do an in-depth review of the item.I took a quick picture of the actual item, and the box it came in. It appear to be of great quality, the USB-C connector is braided, and there is venting openings on two sides. It has an HDMI port on the 4th side. The device is small, and light. If I had a car, I’d be tempted to use double-sided Velcro to have it rest more securely near where its intended to rest. That’s about the best I can do with what I received.

I’ve tested a few wireless CarPlay/Android Auto adapters over the years, and this ByteWave stands among the top performers in its price category. As an electrical engineer who commutes 45/60 minutes daily, I’ve tested this unit under various conditions.Latency measures approximately 80-120ms, which remains imperceptible during normal operation. Audio transmission holds steady at 48kHz without the frequency cutoffs I’ve observed in competitors. Power consumption appears optimized drawing roughly 2.4W during operation according to my measurements, which presents negligible impact on vehicle electrical systems. The thermal management is adequate though not exceptional; after hours of continuous use, the unit reaches approximately 45°C which isn’t perfect but not a real problem. The adapter maintains connection through multiple engine start/stop cycles without requiring repairing, unlike several other adapters I’ve tested. The dual-band WiFi implementation (2.4GHz/5GHz) allows for robust connection regardless of interference.Initial boot sequence takes longer than expected, approaching 45 seconds depending on the mood of the day, because I’ve timed it at roughly 30 seconds, but it seems a bit inconsistent. Additionally, the HDMI output occasionally requires reconnection when switching between different display resolutions but that’s not how I intend to use it, so not really worried.

1.Plug-and-play with no app installation needed2.Tested on Android 13 and iOS 17, both connected seamlessly3.Clear audio and video with minimal delay4.Works great when mirroring navigation for passengers5.Maintains solid connection even after engine restartsI picked up this adapter to simplify how I connect both Android and iPhone devices in a car that only supported wired CarPlay. What stood out immediately was how little effort it took to get everything working â just plug it into the USB port, wait half a minute, and my phone connected automatically the next time I got in the car.The wireless connection has been reliable, even on longer drives and with multiple restarts. I tested both Android Auto and CarPlay and didnât notice any meaningful delay while navigating, taking calls, or using voice control. Audio streamed cleanly without the dropouts Iâve had with some cheaper adapters. The physical design is compact enough that it doesnât get in the way, and the dual USB-A and USB-C input options give flexibility depending on the car. For those who switch between iOS and Android or share driving duties with others, this adapter is a convenient, time-saving upgrade.
