    Great screen, excellent design
This is game changer, I got this for work, the image is very nice specially for what I do. Design and I needed a big screen space for obvious reasons. Very reliable. Don’t expect a professional sound but I didn’t care about because I knew I would use external sound system. Works great as a TV as well

    Good for Everything!
I run Linux on my computer versus other operating systems and I will tell you this screen works really well with the Linux kernel and is great at automatically being detected. I will say sometimes it has some weird acknowledgment that I’m still utilizing the TV but you could turn that feature off but it also works great. If you need a device to show Netflix or anything like that, it’s just like a TV but I use it as a computer monitor for programming and it’s big enough that I could have two big code windows and terminals and gets the job done.

    Great image, slick design!
Beautiful monitor! Picture quality is amazing. I have it sitting next to my Lenovo P16 with 4k OLED display, and it’s the first screen I’ve used that the laptop display didn’t put to shame! I’m using it for Solidworks, and it works very well for spinning models, etc.The almost tool-less stand was very nice to put together. Only a single screw, and it’s a captive screw! Webcam is (mechanically speaking) really cool, but I haven’t tried it out yet. I hear a lot of people bashing on the TV functionality and how it messes with the monitor functionality, but it switches tasks seamlessly for me… not sure what the complaints are about! Great monitor!

    Good monitor, garbage remote
Generally, this monitor is pretty good. Since I use this in a room without a TV, it’s nice to have a computer monitor/smart TV in one package. I use this for work stuff mostly so I don’t game on it, so I’m not sure how quick the refresh rate would hold up for that.I do have two big gripes with it; the speakers and the remote.- The speakers sound very low and hollow, a bit tinny. So I sync it with either bluetooth headphones or a bluetooth speaker.- There is no other way to put it, but the battery on the remote is absolute garbage. If I don’t even touch the remote, it’s a guarantee that within a couple of days I’m gonna be getting a pop up message stating that the battery is low. There is no excuse for this since my Apple TV remote is about the same size and it goes months between charges. It was such an annoyance to have to keep a charger nearby that I finally just bought a universal remote from Philips and that remote is fire. One button pairing and instantly it’s working better than the crappy Samsung remote, and I don’t have to worry about the batteries.

    Slow, buggy, overpriced. Don’t buy
Overpriced laggy machine, at this point you should just buy yourself a TV. Please don’t buy this and get a normal monitor. I promise you you will regret it.

    Like a mini Smart TV!
Bought this for my kitchen and wanted to get rid of the Apple TV box. Since the TV is smart, I was able to get all the apps I needed and added a white Samsung Soundbar to complete the set up.It is very clean looking and many folks have commented on it. Plus it works with the Samsung Smart Things app for all my Samsung devices in the house.

Its expensive but worth the extra cost to get an M80 monitor
The packaging is excellent and setup is easy. It is very well made. I bought it to replace an almost identical Samsung 4K monitor that started to blink, but I wanted speakers to avoid dependence on a sound bar. Also I wanted to experience a small size Smart TV before buying a large screen. I so not like the programming on most TV channels and especially Fox who I do not trust. It was disappointing to see Fox so prominent in the default channel selection of the Samsung, but it was not hard to make other choices. As noted in other reviews the sound is not great, but it is acceptable. The major issue was how to teach this Smart TV to accept all the inputs I wanted from my cable, PC and VCR. There was only one HDMI input so I bought the latest Rocketfish switch box which had 4 inputs. It was expensive, but it is very important to have high-quality switching because the Samsung is very sensitive to the nature of inputs. I wish there was a simple way to make it act like a ‘dumb’ monitor and just accept the inputs, but it insists on telling me what kind of input it is – and sometimes making mistakes. The worst mistake that almost made me return the unit was when I hooked up my high-end computer by using their ‘PC’ input suggestions. They logged me into Windows 11 with my Samsung account instead of my own account. This was a disaster and Windows 11 made changes in my account – but I closed it down and then hooked up my computer with the ‘generic’ HDMI input and never had more issues.(They still call it a ‘PC’ input but it is just a name that I could change.). When I switched to my xfinity cable at first it was not smooth, but it soon learned that this was a new input and the video from xfinity is true 4K. All of this is still a ‘work in progress’, but now switching is no issue and I am happy with the results.

Samsung forced me to return this monitor/TV
The TV side of this wants to take over and make it hard just to use the computer and gaming side. It was not what I expected, like an AB switch, from TV to computer. Way more trouble. Back to Amazon and get a regular gaming monitor. The color and 4k was nice, though.

Unsure when buying 2 of these if they would work with my Mac thunderbolt outputs but happy to report they do! Lots of nifty features I probably won’t use but I was going for quality for photo and video. I am very pleased with my new setup!

Me gusto mucho.

I bought this monitor for purposes of productivity and it does this job exactly!I actually appreciate the 4K quality and the colours that it produces. It just gives me so much more space to do things. Also editing videos is so much fun with this monitor. It makes me want to do the editing! I get that is 60 frames per second, but honestly, I don’t notice it unless I’m playing video games which I barely do.I gave it four stars because when I do play games, which is not so often the monitor just shuts down by itself at times I’m not really sure why actually I might have to contact Samsung before. It’s too late in case this is a defective monitor.Other than that not only is a very sleek looking it’s actually very convenient and large and allows you to do so much. I highly recommend it for someone who’s using it for productivity like editing, creating content or research researching or things of that sort.
