YAY NEW STICKS!!!
These were just as described. Unfortunately, I lack the skill to install them myself and wrecked one of my son’s PS5 controllers ð The good news is I have a friend who works in the electronics industry. He was able to install them in the spare controller, and they ended up working out perfectly. There is no more stick drift, and the response time seems to be better than the factory controller.

Revive your dead ps5 controllers!
Have two dualsense controllers with jitter on the right sticks. I had heard hall effects would correct the problem but didnt want to waste the high cost at the moment. And after having the same issue with ps4 controllers years back, I knew the level of work it would take to change these. I bought the tiny film with potentiometers first to try out. Those where a lot cheaper and it was a lot easier to just put a little solder on top of the original stick contacts. Tried those on my dead ps4 controllers and as I thought, it didnt do much. With those tiny film potentiometers you adjust on one end but the other side of the travel gets messed up. Those where more luck than a guaranteed solution. After a year finally saw this hall effect ones on a reasonable price and decided to buy them. Be advised this is a complicated replacement to do. The toughest part is removing the original ones from the controller. Controller can be opened with a quick internet video. But desoldering the old one takes A LOT of patience. If your up for the challenge it’ll fix your dead ps5 controller for sure. Just take your time a dont rush. Once you get the original one off its easy putting the new one in and just taping the solder points. To calibrate them after, just go on the internet and look for a video. Its easy and again, PATIENCE is the key on removing the old one AND calibrating the new one. From a 50 dead zone setting on apex were down to a 0. Oh and I only replaced the bad one. The other joystick on the controller was fine. If it also goes bad along the way I’ll just do the same.

Peace of mind for the right price
These are great. I don’t have skills or equipment to install them so had a local game shop do it for two PS5 controllers. It’s been about 2 months and have zero issues on controllers that used to have stick drift issues! If you know how to solder and can calibrate the controllers, what can go wrong at this price point? Highly recommend!

Not for the normal DIY person
These joystick are much better than the older ones after fine tuning I was able to get down to a 1% error in the sticks. They are not hard to install if you have the right tools they feel smoother and I saved money vs buying a new controller ot send it off

5/6 Worked, 1 had dead magnet in Y position.
5/6 worked perfectly, 1 of them the magnet in the y position was completely screwed up, i opened it up and flipped it back around but the magnet was completely dead. Voltage was 1.8v on all pins so no issues there. Decent value, would be better to buy off of AliExpress for cheaper since these sets tend to have one or two that donât work.

Drift-Free Gaming
These Hall-effect sticks restored my DualSense responsivenessâno drift or dead zones. Installation took care and patience, but gaming now feels as good as new. Be careful how you solder this in place, you could still get some drift if you don’t place the magnet in place at a 90-degree angle.

Setup is pretty easy if you know what you’re doing. If you don’t there’s this great app called YOUTUBE it will teach you how to install and calibrate the sticks. Oh and it has less tension in the springs less stiffer than than the OEM so you’ll probably have to lower your sensitivity if you play fps. On Call of duty I run a 5 and 5 min input deadzone works smoothly no more drifts!

Le remplacement des joysticks de PS5 sont relativement simple à effectuer.Il faut être équipé des bons outils par contre. Il faut avoir une station de soudage électromique et quelques autres outils.Les joysticks, pour les mouvements, fonctionnent bien mieux que les joystick original qui finissent par avoir du Drift à cause de l’usure. Celle-ci ne semble pas avoir de point de friction au niveau de la détection de l’emplacement du joystick donc possiblement aucun drift possible. Par contre, après l’installation, il faut ajuster les aimants pour ajuster le point central fix des joysticks, ce qui nécessite de connecter la manette de ps5 sur un ordinateur avec un site de Gamepad tester sur Google. Le principe est simple à effectuer mais trouver le centre est un petit peu plus long et précis à effectuer. Il suffit d’insérer une aiguille dans un des deux petits troues et joue avec le joystick jusqu’à ce qu’on ai trouvé le centre, mais le mouvement est très sensible et il faut l’effectuer dans les deux sens, sur chaque joystick.La raison pourquoi j’enlève deux étoiles.Tout d’abord, j’avais un joystick dont le capteur aimanté à l’intérieur était à l’envers ce qui à nécessité que j’ouvre le petit panneau orange sur le côté pour tourner l’aimant, par contre, il y a des très petites pièces amovibles qui ont nécessité beaucoup de patience pour les remettres en places. Par le suite, le panneau ne tenait plus en place comme il l’était d’origine donc je l’ai retiré de la manette de nouveau pour en installer un deuxième neuf.Le deuxième problème, le plus agaçant, est que le clique L3 et R3 (Enfoncé le joystick “pour courrir” par exemple) est normalement resistant mais il n’as pas le feeling ni le son d’un clique original, ce qui nécessite de l’adaptation sur les jeu car on est pas toujours certain que cela à fonctionner comme dans Call of Duty Warzone.Après maintenant 3 mois environ, le joystick L3 ne clique plus mais il ne drift toujours pas. Je dois donc changer de nouveau. Je ne sais pas si les boutons sont de mauvaises qualités où si j’ai eu une mauvaise ensemble mais ce fut mon expérience
