Unit is nice. Delivery has been a nightmare!
Well delivery is terrible; One arrived broken, the second got lost in shipment. Amazon eventually got me a replacement but it took over a month. The broken one (bad expansion slot) is being replaced by APC (these units cannot be returned to Amazon because of the batteries). On the bright side, APC’s customer service is good if a bit slow sometimes. If I considered delivery in my rating, this would be a one star review. But that would be a disservice to the product.The good (the SRT1500xla is awesome):-Huge capacity. Powers my workstation, monitors, switch, entertainment center and more for 1h+.-Pristine power. On line power or battery, the SRT is always generating perfect sine wave power.-HID compliant. Just plug it in to your Windows or most Linux systems and PO shutdowns are automatic.-Optional network cards for remote administration available. Not as happy with these but that’s a different review …The bad:-Expensive. But so is replacing your electronics and rebuilding your cyber-life from scratch.-HEAVY!! Lift with your knees. Better yet get someone else to move it!-A little noisy. Because the SRT is active all the time, it has some fan noise.

Solved my problem with minor power fluctuations causing my internet to reset.
I live in a rural area and I had a problem with my internet connection going out and coming back on. You could not tell there were any problems with power fluctuations. Thru process of eliminations I found out I had an extremely sensitive piece of equipment in my rack. After installing this in the rack not only do I now have steady internet connection but even when the power goes out in a storm I keep internet as the generator kicks in. So itâs seamless connection even when the power really goes out. Totally worth it. Easy to setup. I am no computer wizard (professionals setup my rack) but I was able to install this myself. I.ve had it for several months now and never had a problem with it yet.

Will not buy again
Box was wrapped it what seems to be a black trash bag. A printed manual from a printer. Missing cables. APC does have signs of wear. Seems it was installed previously and removed as it had scratches.

Fast shipping. Well packed. Exactly as described.Device is connected and working.Currently showing 22% usage with 3 poe network switches so I guess I would get about 1-1.5 hours

Poor Packing and Dusty Inside of Box
The product seems fine but the package is way below than expected, dusty inside of box and box has many retape, it makes me wonder if this is open box unit.

Had to replace my last one. It was 5 yrs old. This one seems slightly heavier. Easy to put everything together.

Great to have with a generator
Had a generator installed and didn’t want any dirty power getting to my expensive electronics. Using a double conversion online UPS like this one works great at keeping the voltage and sine wave steady. Worked so well I bought two.

Appears to be used
I have received new ones of these units and they come with a metal cover plate over the LCD. This one did not have that and the power cord was tied up with a sharp zip tie. They normally come with a large twist tie. I’m going to see what happens with it but I’m not the happiest I’ve ever been.

It’s only been working couple of months now but so far so good if it changes I’ll get back and rewrite this review and we did have some power outages and we were able to turn off our computers normally instead of having them just crash when the power goes out so that’s a positive thing
