Customers say

Customers find the WiFi adapter works well, is easy to install with no drivers needed, and provides good signal strength, quadrupling connection speeds to up to 120 Mbps. They consider it a good value for money and appreciate that the drivers come on a CD. However, connectivity experiences are mixed, with some reporting strong connections while others experience frequent disconnections. Moreover, durability is a concern as multiple customers report it breaking within two months of use.

    Very good
Needed something to help my laptop out since it was just barely outside the range of our router, so internet connection was pretty weak. This absolutely helped boost my wifi connection and helped reduce ping by a ton whenever I played games. Simple to install, just plug it in, download & install the driver, and its up and running. Absolutely worth the price and worked better than expected.

High Speed , Easy to install, just like a regular USB drive
It works very well, it’s easy to install, the drivers are downloaded from the official website, although it also comes with a CD with the drivers. My board has Wi-Fi and now gives me the option to choose which antenna to use, and this gives me faster speeds.

Great affordable solution! Worked without having to download drivers!
My HP laptop, which is brand new, started giving me problems recently connecting to the home wifi. No one else’s devices was having any issues with internet connection or speed. I figured it was probably the laptop wifi device having issues, because it couldn’t find my phone hotspot either. I got this TP-Link AC600 device. The minute I plugged it into the USB, it started flashing green and even without downloading any drivers or using the included CD, BOOM it connected instantly to the internet and now my wifi is working without an issue! Love how affordable this was and how easy it was to just plug-and-play! I’m so grateful this item exists and I can keep using my laptop!

It does its job just right
It felt really stiff when I first got it. Like if I tried to bend it it was going to break but after the initial putting it into its position and getting it plugged in because my USP ports are sideways (thank you, Dell.) But luckily the se definitely fit and can I adjust to the angle that I need it to. And please excuse the mess in the photo. I had no problems in selling it. It was literally plug and play even though they sent a disc with it, That honestly 99% of new computers wouldn’t even accept cuz the mini disc(let alone any disk) But my Windows 10 computer was very easily able to install it with no issues and it works perfectly! I am a gamer and so I don’t see any lag different between that one and my old Netgear one that broke. I’d love to install one in the actual computer instead of using a USB port, but I can’t seem to find one that’ll fit my machine. Thank you. Considering this computer has more USB ports (8) than I know what to do with. It doesn’t bother me much to have an additional USB device. So it was a great value for the money, it was compatible, the speed is decent and so far the quality is good. So it’s like you to the seller for making these items affordable, functional and most of all useful.

Great fix for lack of better wifi cards
Why did you pick this product vs others?:Works great for giving me internet on older devices. Originally got it for a laptop that was limited to wifi 3.0 (?) and I think I felt better connection while on discord calls. I later moved it onto an old Optiplex tower that didn’t have a wifi card at all! Eventually I will to upgrade my computer but this was a great fix Value for money:GreatReliability:Flexibility allows it to be in different spots, tho I do wish I had a bit more options for usb that are flipped the other way

    GREAT ADAPTER!
I love this adapter! It’s amazing. I’m absolutely blown away by how simple this adapter was to hook up. I was literally up & running in 5 minutes. I moved a vintage desktop to another room which is 30′ from the router & this TP-Link adapter provides a reliable internet connection. The TP-Link AC600 Archer T2U Plus works great. I highly recommend it. This is one of the best items I’ve bought this year from Amazon. Go buy it!

Unreliable, Frustrating, and Potentially Harmful – Avoid This USB WiFi Adapter
I purchased the TP-Link Archer T2U Plus USB WiFi adapter hoping it would solve a specific issue: my older laptop’s onboard WiFi struggles to detect my work network, even though it connects just fine at home and to public networks. Initially, this adapter seemed like the answer—but it quickly became clear I had traded one set of problems for another, much worse one.The Core Issue: Intermittent DisconnectionsThis seems to be a widespread problem among USB WiFi adapters, especially those using Realtek chipsets (which includes this one). The connection will randomly lag, drop, and completely fail to reconnect. The only fix? Yank the adapter out of the USB port and plug it back in, essentially giving it a hard reboot. Sometimes it reconnects; sometimes it doesn’t. In extreme cases, it disconnects again within seconds. This isn’t a one-off fluke—I’ve experienced it consistently, and it matches what countless others have reported. Not Just This Adapter—Likely a Realtek Chipset ProblemAfter some digging, it appears Realtek-based adapters are notorious for poor driver support, unstable performance, and strange power-related issues. Frustratingly, most affordable adapters on the market use Realtek chips, and it’s difficult to find ones that don’t—there’s no central list of alternatives, and product pages rarely specify the chipset used.Bigger Problems: USB Port Glitches and System InstabilityIt didn’t stop with network drops. One morning, I booted up my PC and realized multiple USB ports had stopped functioning. Devices like my speakers wouldn’t work when plugged into these “dead” ports—unless they were already connected when the PC powered on. Even weirder, unplugging the TP-Link adapter would instantly bring those ports back to life. Plug the adapter back in, and things might work—until the next reboot. This wasn’t isolated to my machine either. My wife’s PC experienced an even worse issue: the adapter caused power draw problems during Windows boot, leaving the M.2 SSD underpowered and triggering boot failures. Booting from Linux confirmed the adapter was acting strangely, with system utilities flagging it as a misbehaving USB device.Poor Setup Experience and Misleading InstructionsSetup was frustrating too. The adapter couldn’t even detect the specific network I bought it for, although it could see every other nearby network. It also created a TP-Link-branded network that demanded a password or security key that’s never mentioned in the instructions. The manual says to use the WPS button on your router, but guess what—Spectrum routers don’t have one. Dead end.No Real Support from TP-LinkTrying to get help from TP-Link is an exercise in futility. Their customer service is almost nonexistent, and their online resources are focused mainly on their routers and modems—not adapters. You’re far better off looking up YouTube videos and Reddit threads. Just don’t expect any kind of direct support.Bottom Line: Don’t Waste Your Time or MoneyThis product, and frankly most USB WiFi adapters using Realtek chipsets, are unreliable at best and potentially damaging at worst. If you’re lucky, you’ll get a week or two of decent performance before the headaches begin. In my case, and in my wife’s, these adapters caused serious system-level problems.I’ll be returning both units and requesting a refund through Amazon—which, thankfully, is usually pretty hassle-free. It’s sad, but I’ve come to view these devices as temporary fixes with a built-in expiration date. You might get lucky. Or, more likely, you’ll end up with a defective product that quietly disrupts your entire system.Recommendation: Avoid this adapter and any USB WiFi device using Realtek chipsets. It’s not worth the instability, power issues, or the time spent troubleshooting.

Me ha servido bastante para extender la red de mi laptop y alcanzar a ver redes que no veo con la antena interna, puede servir tanto para PC de escritorio como para portátil. Bastante útil si su uso es medio o bajo.

A antena é excelente. A placa anterior queimou por conta de pico de luz. Como é um apartamento antigo e cheio de paredes e obstáculos, a antena funcionou muito bem e melhor do que a placa anterior. Recomendo.
