Massive screen with immersive quality
This monitor is absolutely stunning. The ultra wide curved screen fills my entire view, making games and videos feel more immersive than ever. The image quality is sharp and vibrant, and the 144Hz refresh rate makes everything super smooth. Itâs also great for multitasking since I can keep multiple windows open side by side without needing a second monitor. The stand is sturdy and adjustable, and setup was simple. Itâs big, but if you have the desk space, itâs worth every inch.

I bought this monitor for my MacBook Pro setup and it was disappointing. I am returning it. I would strongly discourage anyone with a Mac from buying this item. Although Amazon claims the resolution to be Amazon spec: 5120×1440 native resolution – functionally there is a MacBook limitation. The maximum usable resolution is 3840×1080 â (This is the real limitation). At that resolution the monitor is useless.

This thing is massive. And a huge upgrade for me.
I have two different sized monitors from circa 2007. They have done a great job as some of my first flat-screen monitors. I stopped gaming in 2011 to focus on my career. Now that I’m a bit older, I’ve wanted to get back into it. It seems that curved monitors are all the range these days, so when the opportunity came up to get this Samsung Odyssey, I jumped on it. This thing is HUGE, and quite a large upgrade from what I’ve been used to. My graphics card struggles with the resolution, so I’ll be building a new desktop soon to properly make use of it. I’m using both HDMI inputs to do a dual-screen split currently, but can’t wait to unleash the beast that is this monitor.

Wow! The picture on this is amazing, and I’ve truly never seen a bigger computer monitor. I’ve been able to use this both for work to replace a smaller side-by-side monitor set up and for my preteen’s game console. The degree to which this wraps around you is incredibly immersive. We use a set of speakers separately. The side by side picture and picture and picture makes this screen by far the best one I’ve ever used! When it first arrived, I was a little intimidated by getting it out of the box, but it was the easiest snap-together assembly on the monitor base, and the many levels of height and angle adjustments are so easy! I brag about this monitor to anyone who will listen!

Excellent monitor
Absolutely love this monitor! By using the provided application from HP for smart window set up, Iâve been able to go from 2 physical monitors to 1 physical monitor, but it acts like 3 monitors with how the application lets you set up the Windows. Combined with my laptop monitor and I now have 4 screens to work from.I primarily use it with Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel, but also Slack and Chrome. All of these applications and their windows show up well. The screen size is impressive and has plenty of room for multiple screens/windows.Overall, Iâm very happy with this monitor and have no regrets.

Update: developed a line of dead pixels right across the screen within a month! Luckily I noticed it before the return window closed and sent it back. What a let down.. gonna stay away from SamsungUpdate: Amazon didnât refund me for over a month after my return shipment. Customer service said theyâd manually refund 30 days after the return date, which is what they finally did. Amazon, like google, has turned evil I suppose.Itâs absolutely stunning! Running it with MacBook Pro M2 Max at 5120×1440 resolution with hdmi cable. Changed the picture mode to âoriginalâ and thatâs when the screen came to life, looked dull before that. Also changed the color profile on the Mac from the preset âOdyssey G91Fâ to âGeneric RGB Profileâ and thatâs made the colors so much more pleasing. I am so glad I preordered it and got it for a steal of a deal at $972! Definitely impressed

Because I needed a 1000R display, I had to choose a Samsung, even though I know Samsung monitors don’t have the same quality control as LG.First, the monitor has five bad pixels. Second, the color of the VA panel is worse than that of IPS panels. Third, the menu features are limited, which is unacceptable for a high-end monitor primarily designed for gaming. Fourth, the DP interface is version 1.4.I’d rather pay a little more for the 240Hz model.The 1000R curvature is indeed the most comfortable for the human eye, making it very comfortable, while the 1500R curvature forces the eye to adjust its diopter.

great monitor, arrived in perfect condition, no screws needed as everything snaps together. sadly after 2 and a half months (conveniently after the return window) of heavy daily use, there’s a permanent green horizontal line across the middle of the screen and no features to refresh or fix the pixels. So it’s back in the box and I’m getting an lcd version.
