Nice Basic Business Laptop at a Great Price
I’ve used this model for work so I knew what to expect. It’s a good deal for two fitty. My personal laptop got screwed up and I really wanted to avoid spending big bucks to replace it.This guy has a bright matte screen and a great feeling keyboard. The specs are not bad. Lots of RAM an SSD space. The CPU is a bit on the slow side by today’s standards but you’ll likely not notice unless you’re a gamer or using some advanced apps. I mostly use office apps and browsers. This laptop is more than adequate for my tasks. There’s no touch screen, but that’s just a “nice t have”.

Decent value, but important to know what you are getting
This is a well built business laptop (metal chassis) with good performance and easy access to service or upgrade components. Bright, full HD non-reflective screen, small but decent keyboard.Everything works well, including WiFi and Bluetooth. Windows 10Pro activation was quick and easy. It can be upgraded to Windows 11 and is also certified by Dell to support Ubuntu Linux.A Dell branded charger was included and I was pleased to find that charging via the USB-C port works too.It’s excellent value for money, but don’t forget that it’s a USED computer (even if it claims “like new”), and set your expectations accordingly.Based on other reviews it seems the unit you receive may or may not have one or more of the factory options which were available. I guess the refurbishers go through hundreds of these and these differences are hard to spot. These include touch screen, fingerprint reader, smartcard reader, LTE card and Thunderbolt 3 support.My unit did NOT include Thunderbolt 3* (which was promised). It did NOT include a touchscreen or any of the other options, some of which have been received by other customers. I can live without them, but if you need one of these, be aware yours may not have it.(*See photo, USB-C port shows DP symbol, not a lightening bolt. Thunderbolt activation is not available in the BIOS)At first sight, the unit looks very clean, earning the “like new” description, but closer inspection shows that the top cover, trackpad and areas either side of it have been covered by black textured sticker material to cover any signs of wear. It’s professionally done, but obvious when you look closely. (I would liken it to new paint on a used car!) The areas around the ports clearly show scratches where plugs have been inserted over the years.As I say, this is a USED computer, so this to be expected.One of the nice things about this model is that with just a few screws it’s easy to access the internal components. My unit was clean inside, but the SSD supplied was an off brand 512GB M2 SATA unit (not the original factory installed one). This is fine and fully functional, however I decided to replace it with a higher capacity and much faster PCIe M2 unit. Easy to do and works well.Only one DIMM slot is available. The maximum16GB is installed.Overall this laptop meets my needs well and is good value, but I’m disappointed that the vendor promised Thunderbolt 3 support but did not provide it. (Also the unit in the product photo shows a fingerprint reader and smartcard reader – neither is included).

Excellent Quality Remanufacture Like New
This is an excellent quality remanufacture Dell Laptop, came equipped as advertised. Even on close inspection the laptop appears new in every aspect, very clean no detectable blemishes, although that was not most important. I wanted a good and capable laptop and it is every bit of that. Came equipped with the Intel Core i7 -8650 CPU, 16 GB memory & 500 GB SSD. I am using it on a Dell docking station with dual monitors, external keyboard and mouse. On the 2nd monitor I run a diagnostic program CPUID and I can tell the system runs well temps cool and specs are all in order. Lastly it came with a new clean install of Win10 PRO, non of the PC manufacture bloat software, was really glad to see that, easily upgraded to win 11 PRO. Very satisfied to have a good & capable laptop at a price well below the price of even new bargain laptop MSRP’s. Thanks to the seller 🙂

Didn’t know you could have a computer with this many problems. Just incase this review goes to the wrong seller, OLIVE is who i bought from.Battery is shot, so it requires constant power from the charger. Cant log in to my accounts, computer crashes. Cant run google chrome, computer crashes. Cant update the computer, you guessed it… it crashes.I tried to install a clean windows 10 copy, it failed. Contacted dell support, got a custom windows version tailor made for this computer. It failed, crashed, and deleted all my drivers.Had to try 3 times to reset the computer to factory settings so i could return the damn thing.My question is how could a company think this hunk of junk was okay to send out??

I got it just to run linux since I am tired of having errors with some programs with the M1 I have but well the battery dies pretty quick, I am not happy with it and I am unsure if I will return or keep it tbh. I am going to keep testing and running scripts but it is a little disappointed to buy a computer that has battery issues.The pros are, light in weight, touch screen and very easy to carry around. Unless you are looking for a devise to spend hs on videos/movies I don’t see the point on getting a 15″ screen/computer. This is compact and very good, I connect my second monitors when I am working from home but when outside it goes again to the battery life.It is all plastic (this is not a complain but a description) therefore the plastic is covered with a sticker and that collect some dust from carrying it around (that it is definitely a complain).For the touch screen, it has some issues when trying to scroll down in a site but besides that it is fine.The overall ends up being a 3 not because of the brand but because of the battery life provided by the seller (keep in mind this is a refurbished computer and I was looking for minimum 16gb ram, the price should be lowered or lower due the battery life span otherwise will be ideal).

Fortunately to buy in sale. Already set up to goBattery lasted 5 hours on videos. Should be 8 – 10 hours. Queried this with supplier who shipped a compatible battery. Very pleased with service

El equipo es tal cuál la descripción, incluso el disco y la memoria ram son las originales de fábrica y se encuentran en buen estado, venÃa con windows 10, pero me permitió actualizar a windows 11 sin ningún problema y vá incluso más fluÃdo.La camara de reconocimiento facial por Infrarojos también es excelente incluso de noche, y el puerto thuderbolt 3 también funciona.Como nota, al venir con su versión de windows 10 de fábrica al recibirlo, el equipo se calentaba en exceso, asà que recomiendo actualizar a 11 ya que asà el equipo bajó su temperatura de funcionamiento de forma inmediata.El único detalle ni siquiera esta en la computadora, sino en el cargador del equipo, esta un poco desgastado pero funciona perfectamente.A este equipo le darÃa un 9.8/10:)

I wasn’t too sure what I was going to get when I ordered this, and to be honest I’d set a medium low bar given I was ordering an originally $4000 laptop at this spec, for 85% off as it’s a few years old. Naturally, I expected some wear and tear, and signs of use. I was more than pleasantly surprised when the actual laptop arrived. It was very obvious that someone took some serious care in the refurbishment process. The laptop was spotless. The condition of the exterior was great. The AC charger had been replaced with a brand new one. The bios had been updated. The battery was replaced with a brand new one. The disks had been properly wiped before Windows was reinstalled. Obviously there are a few blemishes, as you’d expect for a used item – one tiny 2mm hairline scratch on the display, which you can only see if you squint when the laptop is switched off, and is totally invisible when the laptop is in use. Also, there was a tiny mark on a back corner, but again it’s not noticable until less you really went hunting for it. I’ve honestly seen new laptops after a week in worse condition than this was. The only real issue I had was there was an asset tracking sticker that I had to remove – and that came clean off with ten minutes of care using wife’s nail polish remover. So to recap: Overall, this was an excellent purchase for me, that got me something way better than I expected. I’d absolutely buy from here again.

Esta, se podria decir que forrada para ocultar los detalles pero esta bn, se ve como nueva. Lo que importa es lo que trae dentro y esta super bn, cumple con lo que dice. No llego con desbloqueo dactilar pero no importa. Increible opcion si ocupas una lap trabajo o la escuela.

The laptop was excellent, and the delivery was prompt. The outer body looked like new, the keyboard was in pristine condition, and the charger was original, making it seem like a brand-new device. However, the battery health is at 80%, affecting its performance, as it lasts less than 2.8 hours in moderate use. Given that it’s a 2018 model, the battery might degrade rapidly over time. Additionally, the fan occasionally produces noticeable noise. Due to these issues, Iâve decided to return it, as further battery degradation could make it difficult to use.
