What can I say, Nilight makes a good product. Iâve used their light on multiple vehicles including 2 jeeps, a pickup and a motorcycle. These switches are on the motorcycle and make it to fit them in place when you donât have much room.

Green LED Rocker Switch 12VDC 20A
Feb 16, 25The product I ordered came with connecter leads, a RED, YELLOW, & BLACK for each switch (qty 5).Even though the switch is rated for 20ADC, the wire leads are 16 awg, so that means the max current is limited to 10ADC.I had two choices, make new connector leads or change the main battery fuse to 10 amps. The battery is used to power my fish finders (2) and interior boat lights. If the fuse blows, then I’ll make new leads.After mounting a switch in a battery box, I needed to route the wires. To my surprise the wires came off the connectors on the switch. Apparently the crimp is weak. I ended up soldering the wires to the connectors. I recommend testing the wire on the connector before use, give it a solid pull while holding the connector with pliers. (Maybe I should have simply created new 14 awg leads)The design of the switch is NOT waterproof, there’s a rubber boot covering the rocker switch, but it does not seal tight when pressed into the opening created. The rubber boot will help prevent water pentation from water spray and rain while boating.Per pervious reviewer’s comment, I used a 13/16 bit to create the hole and the fit was good.I did modify the plastic retainers to aid in the insertion and create better retention.Even though these switches came in a sealed package, the clear finish on the switches had numerous scratches. If the package wasn’t sealed, I would have thought these were used switches.The green LED is not bright, but it doesn’t need to be for me, its just an indicator the power is on.So, due to the extra work of fixing the connectors, retention tabs and the poor finish of the switches, 4 stars.

I made a table lamp from a tail light off a jeep wrangler. It was super easy to hook up the buttons. My first project and luckily these buttons made it easy. The diagram on the Amazon page helped a lot so I knew I was hooking the right wires to the right spots.
