Solid SD / Micro-SD adapter.
This little adaptor is a solid USB based adapter. It’s a great little hub for additional USB/USB3, SD and Micro-SD cards.Through testing however, I would not use all ports at the same time, and highly suggest using it in a USB 3 port to begin with. While using the SD and Micro-SD slots at the same time, there was no real data-transfer delays. Throwing a third storage device did start to cause a drag and I began to notice lag with the mouse that was also plugged into the device.

I rearranged my PC’s USB cables, using this 7 port hub to replace a 4-plug splitter. I started hearing a repeating notification beep. After hours of trouble-shooting, I pinned it down to “device disconnected”. Over and over again, sometimes as often as once every two seconds, sometimes as long as a minute or two (which fooled me into thinking I had solved the problem). At no point did I get “device connected”. This morning, I pulled this hub out entirely and put the 4-port splitter back in its place. The beeping stopped.I guess I got what I paid for. The next hub I buy will be more expensive.
