The new Bosch PR011 Plunge Base is designed to expand the versatility of the Bosch palm routers. The PR011 offers exceptionally smooth plunge action and simple micro fine depth adjustments with depth scales printed on the tool in both-Inch and metric measurements. The plunge base offers fast and accurate depth setting with a 7-step depth stop, two of which are adjustable. The PR011s plunge lock lever is conveniently located near the left handle and springs to the locked position when released, as most users prefer. A clear sub-base allows woodworkers to see their work piece at all times, and the units precision centering design makes it easy to adjust the sub-base to keep a bit on the intended cut line when using jigs, templates, dovetail fixtures and other guidance devices.

Plunge Base for Bosch Colt PR20EVS
I have been using a large plunge router for a long time. I owned the small Colt handheld for a while but had not really used it. Recently I did a job where the handheld seemed to fit and began to understand what it is about. Small and light, it is much easier to control than larger routers, but is very powerful for its size.When I saw this base, I decided to try it. Am I ever pleased. Just received it today, but when I began testing it I could not put it down. The little router can do pretty heavy duty work, and coupled with this base (and a wonderful edge guide/circle cutter – which I also purchased)it is a whole new tool. Precise, accurate controls, and a great feel in the hands make it a joy to use, and the quality of manufacturing is outstanding. I highly recommend it.Thanks to Bosch for another great product and to Amazon for your great service!

Really good quality accessory from Bosch which extends the capabilities of the little router nicely. Love the tool, but not the price.
Bosch seems to hold this tool quite dear, and have set the price to match their affection for it. Amazon’s price was the best I came across for this base after very thorough investigation, so I do feel confident I got the best price possible. I just think Bosch sees the Colt router as a great product (and I enthusiastically agree!) and has therefore set a premium price on accessories.Overall, this plunge base is solid, sturdy and easy to use.

After reading all of the negative reviews, I was reluctant to buy this. But, one review gave dimensions that match 1.25 hp model that was too large for this base. If it helps this base fits the 1 hp Colt beautifully. It might be best to contact Bosch customer support to verify the better base for that model!! Good Luck
