Pretty good scanner
Itâs alright for the price itâs not the best at scanning, but it does the job if you use the spray paint that helps it track better. Itâs a good scanner for beginners like me.

Blown Away by the Creality CR-Scan Raptor Pro!
I got the Creality 3D Scanner CR-Scan Raptor Pro, and wow, itâs incredible! Seriously, everything I scan with it turns out amazing. From tiny, detailed stuff to bigger things, this scanner nails it every time. The 0.02mm accuracy is crazy good, picking up every little detail perfectly. Itâs super fast too, scanning at 60fps, so Iâm not waiting around forever. Plus, the full-color scans look so vibrant and real. Itâs easy to use, and whether Iâm scanning for 3D printing or just messing around, the results are always awesome. If you need a scanner, this oneâs a total winner!

Worse than bad.
Absolute trash. Made a scanner with and old Xbox connect like 10 years ago and the fidelity was much better. This is a gimmick toy and in no way useful in any world of dimension , scale, accuracy. For $260 I thought why not, even not great fidelity still helpful. Wrong, itâs so finicky, unreliable, takes forever to load and start, and just fails every time. I donât know how people are using this for anything besides low fidelity head scans for making poor quality head prints. When I can finally get a scan of only very basic geometry parts.. itâs so distorted that simply no value. For reference I do design and 3d cad and prototyping professionally, and do project builds at home for hobby. There is no mechanical value for this tool

Accurate, with slight learning cuve.
The accuracy is great, however it did take me some time to perform a calibration, being a first time 3D scanner user, never even saw a video about it and following the Application prompt/example had me trying to figure this out for quite a while, until I gave up and looked up a youtube video of someone performing the calibration and notice what I was doing wrong. Do not follow the prompts rather check the techniques of online users. You’ll get much better results.

Good harware, mediocre software
The hardware works great. The software leaves a lot to desire, but it’s workable and gets the job done. The newer V4 software is a bit of a regression. Depending on what you’re doing you might want to use the V3 software.

I spent two weeks getting it working.
I spent two weeks getting it working. With their customer service being in China, expect a day or two between responses and the usual “lost in translation”.The USB must be plugged into the back (not side or front) of your laptop or desktop computer or it will not work.Windows security update KB5049981 must be uninstalled or it will not work.In “devices”, if your system has more than one display adapter showing, the basic one on the motherboard must be disabled. Mine was “Intel(R) UHD Graphics” that had to be disabled (see pic).After all that it works great and hasn’t had any problems. But after two weeks of frustration I’m not sure I’ll buy another Creality product.

Habe bereits einige Projekte mit dem Scanner umsetzten können die ohne nur schwer bis unmöglich gewesen wären. Objekte scannen zu können um sie virtuell zu vermessen ist eine grandiose Möglichkeit um Zubehör mit einem 3D Drucker erstellen zu können.Die Präzision des Scans ist erstklassig. Alles passte auf Anhieb.Die erste Kalibrierung gestaltete sich leider etwas kompliziert da die Anleitung leicht missverständlich ist. Vielleicht bin ich auch einfach nur zu doof gewesen.ð Wenn man es einmal begriffen hat wie das funktioniert, ist auch das ganz einfach und schnell gemacht. Die Kalibrierungaplatte besteht aus Glas. Seit vorsichtig damit. Glas ist sehr resistent gegenüber thermische Ausdehnung was die Präzision der Kalibrierung steigert, allerdings wenn die Platte Mal fällt…. Da hilft nur Beeten das die nicht in 100 Scherben da liegt.Das Kabel vom Scanner ist ebenfalls sehr gut verarbeitet und hat eine gute länge die es ermöglicht auch in unzugänglichen stellen zu Scannen, oder halt eben auch groÃe Objekte.Die Software könnte durchaus ein bisschen aufpoliert werden. Sie erfüllt ihren Zweck, aber schön ist was anderes. Die Ãbersetzung ist zum Teil sehr fragwürdig und manchmal unfreiwillig komisch.ð Aller in allem, sehr empfehlenswert. Ich hoffe das die Software noch Mal etwas nach poliert wird.

Très déçu de cet appareil, je lui mets quand même 4 étoiles car il est indéniablement de qualité.Mais là où le bas blesse c’est au niveau de l’ergonomie, quelle galère : il n’est pas sans fil, n’a pas de batterie donc il faut le brancher sur une prise 220 volts (un vrai fil à la patte !), nécessite d’être connecté à un ordinateur (très puissant et très récent), son câble est encombrant , trop court et pas pratique car il faut le visser avec deux vis à l’appareil (même principe que les vieilles prises vidéo VGA, en plus petit mais tout aussi pénible).Du coup, il n’est pas engageant à utiliser car c’est tout un “déménagement” à chaque fois qu’on en a besoin : visser le câble, brancher le Crealty CR Raptor sur une prise 220v, apporter un ordinateur et y brancher le câble usb : ce n’est pas engageant et ne donne pas envie de l’utiliser.Très déçu aussi que la page de vente n’indique pas explicitement la configuration minimale de l’ordinateur, l’info est cachée sur une autre page qu’il faut faire apparaître en cliquant sur une petite flèche discrète au bas de la description. Cette info est cruciale et devrait être affichée en premier plan.En fait, il faut une carte vidéo de 6go NVIDIA , 16go de ram minimum, pour les Mac il est préférable d’avoir un processeur de génération M sans quoi le résultat n’est pas à la hauteur de ce que peut fournir ce scanner Crealty CR Raptor.Après une telle dépense, il est difficile d’acheter dans la foulée un nouvel ordinateur sur-puissant. Donc ce scanner ne me sert à rien pour le moment.Si la description de la page de vente avait été plus explicite, je n’aurais pas acheté ce scanner.Sans compter l’ergonomie peu pratique de l’appareil, avec une connectique vieillotte et sans batterie, rappelant les produits du début des années 2000.Retour à l’expéditeur.

Tienes que tener un ordenador potente para que el procesado vaya rapido y no pierda la nube de puntos, el escaneado de personas muy bien, pero al utilizar el de laser azul se comolica un poco en objetos, realiza muchos tramados de lineas y es comolicado despues alisarlo, quiero pensar que es un fallo del escaner
