Does the job, very handy
Very nice unit, especially for the price. I got this for my truck as I had some different ideas in mind for the lighting. I first used it on a custom third brake light/chase light I designed. Works flawlessly. The wiring is super straight forwards, it only requires direct power, ignition power, and any inputs from other extra lights you plan to use as well as the auxiliary wire from fuse box to switch panel (which is very durable). So, for the price this thing rocks, it saves you a rat’s nest of wires on your battery and consolidates it very well. It would be nice if they included some relays to give strobe options for lights, this was something I added in for the chase light. Overall provides great power to lights making them bright as direct connection to the battery as well great functionality.

I got this relay box, cable and panel for an upgrade in my GX470. It’s tied in with a house battery, starter battery, and auto switchover of my own design. The relay box handles all 6 of my exterior lights – fog pods, ditch spots, and 4 roof rack mounted lights for in camp or slow crawling (they flood 360 degrees).Its able to easily handle the amount of power for 12 lights, although I don’t have enough overhead for that many amps. Wiring the lights in was also easy, the relay box uses a terminal block rather than DT connectors so no special tools are required, although I did made DTs for mine. Moreover, there was very little voltage sag despite the box being mounted behind the second row rather than the engine bay.One complaint is that the mounting ears aren’t tall enough. I couldn’t open the box to check fuses or relays without mounting it on 1Ã2 in my electronics housing. It really only needs 7 or 8mm to get the clearance. Aside from that issue the box is sturdy, water resistant (although i wouldn’t submerge or expose it if possible), and has a bottom access panel to check or move internal wiring.I chose to mod my box and shorten the power leads to reduce total wire length and sag. It’s not hard to do and the webbing around the power leads can be trimmed to fit. However I did need a new copper end and shrink wrap to seal it up. Additionally, I tapped the ground to the chassis and ACC to an external terminal block for the “logic” in my system. There was more enough extra wire to do this, however I don’t think the wires would stretch to the front oe fuse box.The best part is the switch wire bundle, water proof connectors, and switch panel. The wires are great and it makes running 6 switches very easy. It just barely stretched to the front dash though. The panel itself is fantastic. It’s heavy machined aluminum, has a good solid feel, and clicky feel for the buttons. The auto illumination feature is awesome and very responsive. It looks great and much better than the mess I had before.All in all, the kit here replaced a TON of wiring, cables, relays etc etc for a single box, and single panel. It’s also easy to mod this device to integrate it into a larger system. 11/10 purchase.Ps the picture of the wires/ cables is what got replaced, I had 6 bundles now gone!!

I am impressed with this unit, it may not be a name brand, but it is great. The head unit is heavy and made very well with the intent of being in the nastiest environments. It’s simple and solid and just as good as the units they make that cost over $100, don’t waste your money on a 6-gang switch that has the name brand on it for over a $100 when you can get the same quality for way less money.

Works just as intended, havenât had any issues with it. My only issue is that the backlight is not bright enough. I have my ditch lights and fog lights currently wired to it. Everything works perfectly.

Same as the bigger named version. Great way to help wire up additional lighting on my vehicle. Easy installation just follow the instructions. Easy labeling and simple to use.
