Essential and Easy-to-Use Grabber Tool – A Must-Have for Everyone!
I recently purchased the 32″ Reacher Grabber Tool and couldn’t be happier with the results. This tool has quickly become an essential part of my daily routine. Whether I’m picking up litter in the yard, retrieving items from high shelves, or helping an elderly family member with mobility challenges, it works like a charm. The lightweight design makes it super easy to maneuver, even for those with limited strength or arthritis. Despite its feather-light feel, it’s surprisingly sturdy and well-built. The claw grip is strong and precise, allowing me to grab everything from paper to small cans without dropping anything. What I love most is its versatility—it’s perfect for indoor and outdoor use. It’s also a great solution for avoiding unnecessary bending or straining, especially helpful for seniors or post-surgery recovery.Overall, this grabber tool offers a simple, effective way to extend your reach and reduce physical stress. Highly recommend it to anyone looking for a practical, affordable assistive device!

    Hard to decide! Buy Both!
The photos show the 2 grabbers that I purchased yesterday from Amazon Prime. The Pikstik is an exact replacement for the one I have had for many years now. The folding one I bought from Amazon Prime as well.I drive a mobility scooter and I have had the Pikstik unit secured across the top of the tiller and would perfectly set behind my 2 rear view mirrors and secured with 2 small clips. When I would spot something that would be a road hazard to cars by getting picked up by a moving vehicle and shot into a passing vehicle or a vehicle following it, I would swoop in and grab the object off the street and then place it off the road or if small enough I would toss it into the trash bag that I carry with me. I use the grabber almost every time I take the scooter out for a ride. I also have a 30” extension magnet for the metal objects that I find in the road like lug nuts, screws, nails, construction staples, hubcaps and items that I don’t know what they are. As a retired Army veteran, I used to be a helicopter mechanic and crew chief on Huey’s and unfortunately I was involved in an incident where a piece of metal was picked up and thrown into my tail rotor as the pilot lifted off the tarmac. The object destroyed the tail rotor causing the craft to spin out of control and the pilot had to slam us down HARD which caused horrific damage and injury to the pilot. I was lucky enough to only sustain minor injury. The one BIG rule that was always talked about was F. O. D. (Foreign Object Damage). Any object that is on the ground is a potential hazard to any aircraft so major attention is focused on making sure that no FOD is on the tarmac. The same applies to roads and streets and anywhere that vehicles travel. An object can be picked up by the tread of a vehicle and either right then or maybe later when that vehicle is on the highway or freeway and has enough speed going that the object stuck in the tread of the tire suddenly lets go of it. This object can and does catapult out from the tire and can easily damage a vehicle that happens to be behind them. I have seen objects penetrate through windshields or strike the body of the vehicle causing serious damage/or injury. So in my small town, while out and about I take it upon myself to help remove potentially dangerous objects from the streets in our town.So enough of the FOD stuff. I have always had the Pikstik non folding grabber handy for me to use. So why did I also buy the folding one? Well I sometimes, rarely but sometimes I wished I had 2 grabbers to aid in some of the larger items that I find in the streets. The other day I somehow managed to snap one of the grabber legs off from a branch sticking out of a large bush. I attempted a JB Weld repair with somewhat less than stellar precision and decided to just purchase a new one.So here it is. The Pikstik has a price tag of around $25. The folding one was $10 on a 50% reduced price from $20. The photos show that other than the folding difference the 2 grabbers are identical. I will install the non folding one back where the broken one has been riding for years. The folding one has a little snap clamp that I have installed under the seat of my mobility scooter and I can access it easily when I need a second one to assist with the Pikstik. Both of these grabbers seem to work identically and equally. One $25. The other $9.95. Hummmm. Big difference in the price for what? I’m not sure. But I am sure that I needed to replace the broken one I have with the same. I haven’t used the folding one yet but I can tell that it will probably perform equally as well as the non folding one. My recommendation would be as follows……Buy both of them and enjoy! I will! Now, I have 2 fur-babies that are ready to go for a ride today in “their” scooter. Hopefully I will try the folding one today.I will be posting this same review on both of the grabbers pages.

    It works great!
This thing works great! It fits through narrow spaces and using it I can pick up a dime off a hardwood floor. It’s good and sturdy even though it’s lightweight. The grabber part rotates nicely. You better get 2 so if you drop one you can use the other one to pick it up.

    Works well, unsure of quality
This has been great for enabling someone with restricted upper body movement to do tasks like sliding tabbed curtains across the separate bars of a long curtain rod. It feels pretty good overall, but the plastic has a somewhat low-end feel; the handle squeaks when manipulating the grabber, which makes the overall quality feel a little uncertain. But it’s overall effective and easy to use.

Heavy duty and worth it, usually
This is very helpful. It’s long and study, allowing it to pick up heavier items than smaller models. Fair warning, it is heavier itself and a little harder to squeeze than smaller models. I can’t use it for a long time or my wrist and thumb get exhausted and sore. That said, it’s a great piece. I have bought two for two areas in my home. Then I have a smaller, lighter model for when this one is overkill. Overall, no complaints, but if you are disabled in a way that makes your hands or wrists weak, you may not be able to use this one as well as lighter counterparts. But if you need heavy-duty to pick up clothes and full soda cans and other things in that realm, this is an excellent grabber.

    32” Grabber
I thought this grabber was hard to use. It is very well made snd designed but I don’t have a strong strength in my wrist or hand and I felt like it was hard to squeeze it together and get a hold on trying to pull wet clothes out of washing machine. Couldn’t get a strong enough grab on clothes and clothes kept falling off before I could pull them out. Its the only thing I tried it for so far.

Great tool but broke after less than 2 weeks
I bought this for a road trip with my kids. My oldest sits in the third row of our minivan and I needed to be able to hand him snacks and toys. It was a HUGE hit and worked amazingly – the kids were obsessed with the “reacher grabber”. It has great grip and I was able to transfer all kinds of snacks and packages to the back. I could even hook it onto the loop of their metal water bottles. However, the plastic bracket that locks the tool into the straight, in-use position cracked in half within less than two weeks of use. Granted my kids liked to play with it so we were definitely rougher on it than is normal, but we were still surprised by how quickly it broke. It is still usable with light items but can’t transport heavy things like water bottles.

The rubber gripping dots fell off very quickly. The screw is just so small. Otherwise it’s foldable, which is a plus. But not very long lasting

Can’t believe how we got along without it. Super for when you work with jigsaw puzzles. Picks up tiny pieces without damage.
