The Aquascape Smart Control Plug allows you to control and monitor outdoor electronics from anywhere with your smartphone or tablet using the Aquascape Smart Control App. Setup is quick and easy, allowing you to control and monitor landscape lights, fountain pumps and lights, holiday decoration and more! The rain-tight, rugged design is rated for outdoor use. The plug features three outlets so you can control three products simultaneously.
Use dynamic scheduling to have products turn on automatically when you need them and get real-time energy consumption data for any electronic device to make informed decisions and save money. The astronomical timer allows the outlets to automatically turn on and off based on your location. The device also works with Alexa and Google for easy voice control. Total max wattage: 1,500-watts. Max wattage for each socket: 1,000-watts. Adequate wireless coverage is required (2.4 GHz supported).

For me It made sense to go with this Unit so i can use 1 app for all my pond functions like aerators, Thermostats and lights. Also a lot of my other pond features are Aquascape and i have been happy so far with them. Right from the get-go I noticed that the WIFI strength was very weak and sometimes would not connect at all, and then an hour later the device would be on. after about 2 months of use, the device completely stopped working. For nearly $60 this was a huge disappointment. i then bought a Outdoor Smart Plug buy TESSAN for $30 and it just blows this Aquascape out the water on its WiFi Strength and quality. It does have its own app but its worth it considering at night if i want pond light on i know it will work!

Be prepared to return 2 or 3 times until you find one that works.
I own several aquascape wifi products, own lots of their pumps.I’m also tech engineer so the concept of paring wifi devices is not a foreign concept. These devices and *only* pair on 2.4ghz .. (yes it almost 2021.. the date code on this device from china is 2020)So I set up a specific wifi ID that only speaks 2,4ghz back to my network.I have multiple wireless access point in a mesh configuration. The closest access point to this device is literally 12′ line of site. Outdoor, not walls..nothing.ThisWillNotPair …My success rate with aqua scape wifi devices to pair is horrible. Granted. If I get a *good* aquascape device that pairs ..it is flawless.If you get this (or any aquascape wifi devices) just be prepared to send it back for an exchange until you find a good one out of the batch.It is beyond me how the quality control with aqua scape is abyismal ..

Very disappointed
I had to return this product after trying two of them. I installed an outdoor AP so I could get better Wi-Fi to this device. At the device I was getting 30-50 mbps which is way more than this device needs at the 2.4 mhz frequency. It would work great for a few days then loose connection. It would leave my pumps on all night or not turn them on at all. I am returning this and going to try a Smart life compatible outdoor rated smart plug that should do the same thing for cheaper money. I also have there wifi color changing lights and they run into the same issue. I just don’t think they have there wifi game down yet. I really wanted this to work so I could use there app to control everything but that is a lost cause now.

Got it to sync with wifi but could not get power from the plug to items I connected. May have been a bad one.

A much needed item for turning pumps on and off when doing maintenance on your pond. Paired up quickly in the app which I already had installed for my thermometer prevents me from trying to remember which plug to pull , which is always trial and error. Highly recommend
