The Nord Piano Monitor system is exclusively engineered for optimal dynamic reproduction of the electric and acoustic pianos in the Nord Piano Library. They feature an additional auxiliary audio input for connecting a laptop or smartphone; perfect for playing along, rehearsing or just listening to music. A new design allows the brackets to mount directly to the bottom of the speaker. The brackets are now included in the box. Outstanding
I may have a limited perspective given I haven’t tried other monitors with my Nord Grand, but these are fantastic. I typically play with headphones (in a condo w/ shared walls), but occasionally I’ll unplug and I’m constantly amazed by the quality of the sound. The price point is admittedly high, and I’m sure there are plenty of options out there that are far less expensive and more than adequate, but these really are incredible. If aesthetics are important, matching red with the logo is a nice touch as well.

Great speakers, no issues or complaints.
These speakers are actually amazing, not too happy that theyâre expensive but I canât say they donât sound good for the price. I have a set of new Bose S1 pro speakers and they donât sound anywhere near as crisp.I have no issues, the sound is strong and full.No hiss, no metallic ringing, no buzz, no weakness in sound when cranked, no distortion at all.I run a NS4 with a Kurzweil K2061 stacked on top. I plug my Kurzweil in to my âmonitor inâ input on the Nord and the sound of both goes into the speakers.The quality of sound I get is like Iâm listening to a high grade movie score.These speakers are functional, and powerful for the size.My only complaint is the wiring, wish I didnât have such a wire nest going on in the back of my keyboards lol

Bad quality and noise
It has no quality for the price. It makes a constant noise It seems like they use a poor transformer inside.

Mainly for home use only to have excellent sound
Great speakers! Sound great on keyboard and even as home theater monitors

Not ideal for near field
Too much hiss for a near field monitor, the sound is also pretty âweakâ when you crank it up (it is pretty small monitor though); but it does make a good match for the color of my nord keyboard

Metallic ringing
For some reason, the right speaker makes a very unpleasant metallic ring when certain notes are played. My best solution to this problem has been to place the speaker upside down. No idea why it helps. I think something is vibrating inside the speaker. I would not recommend these to anybody because of this issue.

Incredible sound. Overpriced maybe but worth every penny to me.
I was agonizing over the price and the size of the speakers. I ordered them knowing that there was free return on these. I am keeping these puppies. Wow.
