    heavy lots of flex tho.
This keyboard is impressive, featuring tactile switches and tall keycaps. It has an old-school ibm feel, even to the point of being somewhat uncomfortable due to its height. A wrist rest may be necessary, but the RGB lighting is outstanding. It uses green switches, which are 5-pin. I hope this is helpful.

So much better than I expected
I’ve had some pretty mediocre experiences with mechanical keyboards, but this one is a rockstar in my opinion. While there are some oversights or things missing, just about everything is top notch, and I can largely overlook everything else.A couple of basic points out of the gate, I’m primarily using this keyboard in wired mode for gaming, writing, and programming. I have tried it on bluetooth, but for practical and convenience reasons that are unique to my setup, I prefer to use it wired. As a result, I haven’t really had a reason to test the 2.4 Ghz connection, nor have I tested battery life. The keys feel fantastic to me. I’m hardly a mech keyboard snob, but the key travel is really good, and the linear actuation feels premium. The switches don’t have any click, but there is a very nicely muted sound from the keys striking the plastic column. In other words, you can press a key very slowly and it will make no sound at all. It doesn’t carry far and won’t wake people up in another room, but you definitely still hear it.I’m not planning to replace any switches on this board, but the switches are hot-swappable if you’d like to use a different type. I don’t have strong feelings about the keycaps that are on here, but they are nice and do have a very subtle texture, so your fingers won’t slip around on them. The one criticism I do have is the keycaps don’t have any transparency, so the backlights don’t shine through at all. I can type without looking at the keyboard, but I do like to have backlit keys for those times when I just need to look down and press a single key or two without finding the home row first. The key layout is also great. While this isn’t a “compact” keyboard in any real sense of the term, a few keys have been cut or shortened from the true 100% layouts so this board can still be somewhat slimmed down.Lighting effects also tend not to appeal too much to me, but this board does have a lot of configuration options, which made it kinda fun to tinker with a few different behaviors. The only thing I wish they would have added is a way to turn down the intensity of the bar at the top left. I kinda like having it on, and it’s not blindingly bright, but I’d like it more if it was dimmed by about half.I do have to call out one thing though… There’s no “driver” software for macOS, it’s only for Windows. Additionally, there’s not a proper website, just a weird little linktree-style site with a long list of links to files hosted elsewhere. Sorry, but if a company has lasted long enough to put out dozns of keyboards, there’s really no good reason they can’t put together a basic website. Seeing as I can use the board without messing with the software, I can live without it, but that does mean giving up the ability to create macros, which would be useful.Anyway, setting aside the lack of software and a couple other tweaks, I’m really happy with this keyboard. It’s not super cheap, but it’s certainly less expensive than the mech keyboards I often see people talking about. And on top of that, the connectivity options and semi-custom features are fantastic for the price point. I have no reservations about recommending this board to most people.

Impressive Budget Custom Keyboard with Software Concerns
As a moderate keyboard enthusiast who has experienced various switch types, I found this budget gaming keyboard delivers surprising performance that genuinely exceeds its price point expectations.Performance Across Connection TypesI tested all three connectivity options extensively during daily use and couldn’t detect any noticeable input lag whether using Bluetooth, 2.4GHz wireless, or USB-C wired connection. This consistent responsiveness across all modes demonstrates solid engineering, especially impressive given the budget positioning. The tri-mode flexibility provides excellent versatility for different usage scenarios.Switch Quality AssessmentWhile these linear switches aren’t my personal favorites compared to premium options I’ve used, they perform respectably for the price point. The switches feel relatively smooth with only minimal scratchiness that becomes barely noticeable during regular typing. The sound profile is pleasant enough – not remarkable but certainly not offensive. For users new to mechanical keyboards or those on tight budgets, these switches provide a decent introduction to the mechanical experience.Software Security ConcernsThe software distribution method raises legitimate security red flags. Having the keyboard software hosted on Google Drive feels extremely sketchy and unprofessional, even though my virus scans came back clean after downloading. This approach undermines confidence in the manufacturer and creates unnecessary anxiety about potential security risks. I understand budget constraints, but proper software hosting is a basic expectation.Software Usability IssuesThe included software epitomizes typical budget gaming peripheral software – functional but frustrating. The interface is cluttered with poorly translated text that creates confusion during configuration. While I managed to get everything working through trial and error, the user experience definitely requires patience and willingness to tinker. It’s not the worst keyboard software I’ve encountered, but it’s far from intuitive.Entry-Level Value PropositionFor newcomers interested in exploring custom keyboards without significant financial commitment, this represents a reasonable starting point. The hot-swappable switches allow for future experimentation with different switch types, while the gasket mount design provides a taste of premium keyboard features.Bottom LineDespite software concerns and average switches, this keyboard delivers impressive performance and features for its price bracket, making it a solid entry point for custom keyboard exploration.
