Perfect Replacement
This was a perfect plug-and-play replacement for the failed battery in my APC battery backup. It came with all the necessary wiring (not always the case) to allow a one-to-one replacement.

Does not last a full 2 years
This product said it is supposed to last 2 years at least but our battery backup was prompting to change it out after a year. I am wondering if they sent me one that was in their warehouse for a long time.

It works!
The APC Smart-UPS 1500VA has served us well for nearly 7+ years. We replace the battery (SMT1500) every 3-4 years. The UPS does what we expect and the SMT1500 battery delivers the expected results.

correction: the seller did pay shipping for returnit looks good until you pull the plugUPS showed 100%…everything looked great…until the plug was pulledBe sure to test after you get it by turning off power to see how long it really lastsinstalled, charged for 24 hrs. showed 100% charge, 25% load…unplugged to test and dropped from 100% to 5% in less than 1 min…was at 1% before I could plug back in…about 1 min total timegot APC brand, charged, same load actually listened to beeping to 55 mins then plugged back in.APC load chart projects over 60mins runtime at 25% load. either defective or substandard battery.returning

Ordered this to replace an old, defective battery in our battery backup for our office network. Arrived packaged securely, installed and worked flawlessly so far. Would buy again.

Poor performance
Battery was 100% charged. When I unplugged to operate on battery, with very little load, the battery dropped down to 70% within 5 minutes. Battery also arrived with caps insecured; glue cracked. Very disappointed with this supplier.
