Works great!!!!!!!
I’ve never owned a “smart” surge protector before, but I needed to be able to put 5 lava lamps on timers so that they turn on and off by themselves every day. This worked perfectly! EXACTLY what I wanted. The Geenie app was easy to install and it’s very user friendly.It took me a while to figure out how to use the smart outlets, though. The “Timer” feature is actually a stop watch type function that counts down.It’s “Schedule” that allows you to set an ON time and then an OFF time for each smart outlet.One of my lava lamps wouldn’t turn off when it was set to. I simply deleted that schedule and made a new one. It has been working just fine ever since.And I love being able to control the outlets from an app on my phone! It’s so convenient!Once I figure out how this smart surge protector works, I was so impressed with it that I bought two more of these for other uses.Seems great quality and has been working fantasticly.HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

Controllable power for aquarium
I’ve been using this for several months to provide power to my aquarium. I love that there is wifi connectivity designed into this device that allows me to remotely control my equipment as necessary. The design also allows scenes to be created which are automated scripts. This makes it easy for me to hit one button and shut down all pumps, then hit another scene and start everything back up. The mix of 110 outlets and usb ports is handy. I just with the usb ports were programmable too, they’re not 🙁 The build quality seems to be good as it’s still holding up and functioning without hiccup. Overall, I’d say it’s been a great value for the money.

Really nice and easy to use
Works great with no issues. Comes with an app thatâs easy to connect too. It also can be paired with other brands of smart appliances on the Alexa app. Each plug can be turned on and off from the app or you can set times that plugs stop working. Great product!

Geeni Products Never Disappoint!
Iâve been a fan of Geeni products for a while, and the Geeni Surge Ultra Smart Surge Protector is no exception! I upgraded from my previous Geeni surge protector to this one for the extra outlets, and itâs been a game changer for my custom-built plant cabinet. Each plug is connected to either a fan, light, heat pad, or humidifier, and the ability to create schedules for each specific plug lets me customize the conditions perfectly for my plants.The reliability of Geeni products gives me peace of mind, and I love the ability to control things via my phone (home or remotely) and the ability to integrate it into Google Home assistant. This surge protector has made managing my plant cabinet so much easier. I would give it 10 stars if I could! Highly recommend it to anyone looking for a smart and versatile power solution!

Started a FIRE!!!
I saw a review saying it was a fire hazard but most of the bad reviews only mentioned connection problems. The device connected perfectly and worked for almost a month. On thanksgiving I was woken up, at 3:49am, to an awful sound and flashing lights. Apparently the surge protector, which I had all the outlets full but only 2 working, decided that it didnât want to protect any surges. A mini electrical fire started and melted the housing of the plug for the Edison connector. It also melted the outlet I was using.Looking at the surge protector the cable was extremely hot to the touch and one of the terminals of the plugs were completely melted off.I do not recommend this item at all as during the entire debacle it did not shut itself off, the entire reason I go this was in case of power draw issues the entire thing would turn off by itself.This device had two jobs, to allow for me to turn the devices to be turned on/off and to turn itself off if any problems occurred. It didnât do so. And actively caused a safety harm while I was sleeping.DO NOT BUY THIS DEVICE!

Works well–But most load the App to use…Beware of Used being sent as New
Works well. App is simple but effective. I took off a star because of (1) it defaults to off until you load the software. So, if you don’t load the app, it is a brick. What this company does with your info–who knows.Also, of 3 units purchased, two were clearly used which is not acceptable and Amazon should sanction this seller so they understand new means unopened and unused..

Very versatile power strip but requires a smart phone or tablet to operate properly.
What a surprise, after years of using device sensing Smart Strips, I was prepared to dislike using an app controlled power strip.To the contrary, in this world of computer peripherals, especially drives, that have no power switch yet you want them always connected and ready to use when needed, having individual control over which one goes on without reaching for a clunky power strip is great. Years ago I had a computer desk with a rack mount cabinet where it was easy to have an individual manual switched multi-outlet neatly mounted but those days are gone. The Geeni flat power strip can be hidden away yet retains the versatility of that old rack-mounted multi-outlet.This device is great. If I only want the computer and one monitor on with no other devices, easy. Need the second monitor? Launch the app and the monitor is on. Need the speakers? Same.Now the question is of longevity, weâll see. The SmartStrips I have stopped working well as new computers donât have the same power draw which confuses the auto-sensing SmartStrips. I was using power tricks like setting up a small desk lamp as the sensing device instead of the main computer. Itâs also telling that SmartStrips are very hard to find now.
