Ordered this as a replacement for a similar model that after 5 years of use in all kinds of weather was wearing down.This model looked great! Very similar to the old with some nicer upgrades on the cover. Husband installed it a couple weeks ago. Worked great 2x. Went out for a ride, and none of the display buttons will work. Only works through the remote control, which is chincy and we expect to last not long. My husband checked all the connections, fuses, etc⦠did the troubleshooting⦠nothing was wrong with the fuses/connections, and troubleshooting (which only told him to manually reset) did not help to fix the problem. We are pretty disappointed and kind of angry, seeing how our older model with less protections lasted us 5 years, and its replacement has lasted 2 weeks in total (1 week of use). I hope the company reaches out, because Amazon makes it impossible to contact the seller anymore, and Amazon CS is literally a bot.

Impressed with sound quality of such an inexpensive stereo
Got this for a pontoon boat after returning a similarly priced competitor model. It included the 6.5″ speakers and once installed, I am very happy with the bass response and volume level. The only downside is that even though this is “marine” rated, it is NOT waterproof and any rain or splashing will result in water entering through the faceplate, I will need to install a weather shield for it, but for the price it is worth keeping.
