High Quality Outdoor SMART Plug with Dimming, Well Done Treatlife
I have used many different remote-controlled plugs in the past (before the time of SMART devices) for my outdoor power needs (holiday lights, speakers, fountains etc.). As we got smart devices more and more in our lives, I began to search for a smart plug that is weather resistant and, I could control it with my Google Home or, via app from my phone. I tried few other brands, but they did not deliver what they promised. I decided to give a shot to Treatlife. This is a well built outdoor switch with dual sockets that you can control via Alexa or Google Home independently. And if you don’t have any smart assistant, you can still use it by the free App provided by Treatlife. the plug’s sockets will show up as 2 separate devices in your App. Setup is very straightforward and easy. I made a video for anyone who wants to see how google home can control 2 different lights and it’s dimming capability. I bought this switch in August. I wanted to wait at least for few months and for some rainy days before I wrote this review. I have to say, I was impressed. It works without any glitches and itâs a high quality product with really cool features. Dual independent sockets with dimming light capability, and water resistant design which is hard to find in this crowded smart plug market. You can stop searching now. You wont be disappointed with this unit. Well done, Treatlife.

Great product that works just as described. I use it for my outdoor Edison LED dimmable lights and a water fountain. It is easy to connect to 2.4g Wi-Fi. This model will not connect to 5g Wi-Fi as stated in the directions.

Super Easy To Set Up And Works With SmartLife App!
This was probably the EASIEST smart device Iâve ever set up. Plugged it in, and my Smart Life (SmartLife) app saw it automatically and added it. Then within seconds, Alexa added it. Boom! Done!This will be used for two lamps on either side of our bed, where my wife and I can each have our own control over our own lamp functionality. The 2 outlets are controlled independently, allowing her and I to choose individual brightness levels and on/off schedules. Itâs smarter than smart!Iâll be getting more of these for out on the deck, in Spring, and for Christmas lights next winter!

ONE STAR MAY NOT BE FAIR…LET ME EXPLAIN WHY
Let me start by saying, “I ABSOLUTELY LOVE TREATLIFE AND THE APP”. For the last 3 years, my entire backyard has been set up with Treatlife controlling everything from my hanging table lamp, gazebo surround lights, all fence lighting, shrub lighting and lastly, my water fountain. The app is a dream. When I set it all up, it went smoothly as silk…no issues. I have a dual Netgear router and I never changed anything at the time…I’m assuming it somehow automatically picked up the 2.4Ghz on its own. To this day, I am totally pleased with my Treatlife system. So, fast forward 3 years later. I still have the same router. I bought these two controllers to work with two other sets of lights. To cut to the chase…it absolutely will NOT pair up…neither of them. I’ve changed the 5Ghz to 2.4 on my phone, over and over again…on my home router, over and over again and even went into the Netgear setup to literally completely shut down the 5 Ghz portion….still no good. Here’s the part that will be difficult to believe…I spent 5 hours…yep…5 straight, continuous hours trying all kinds of set up…nothing!!! The next morning, with a clear head, I put in an additional 4 hours trying everything…nothing. I would not have devoted more than 30 minutes to this if it weren’t for the fact that I know how good this product is (has been). Sadly, I am going to send it back…with a heavy heart…defeated!!!

Good customer service – don’t overload the switch
Fairly straightforward to set up in the treatlife app. Was a little confusing to pair with alexa, but that is not unique to this company. Once set up, we were able to control brightness settings on both named outlets easily with voice commands.FYI, this device can burn out under heavy load – I would sometimes disconnect the extension cords from our string lights to use with power tools in the back yard, for convenience. I did this many times without incident, but one time when running a circular saw on the circuit, I burned out the dimmer switch (didn’t really think it through). I reached out to the company, and they were kind enough to send me a replacement. I would recommend them for their customer service, but just be aware that this product is not really meant for heavier loads – just stick to dimmable lighting. Otherwise, it’s a cool product that works well!

This thing is fantastic, and setting up the app was very easy. I was a little worried about not being able to use it if you don’t have your phone on you, but there are on/off buttons on the actual plug. It’s not clear from the instructions how to set up the app on someone else’s phone â my son set it up after I’d had it already set up, and HIS setup inadvertently deleted MY access. What you do is add a “home” in the settings and connect your plug to that “home.” THEN you can invite others to “join” the home, which then allows their app to control the same plug, rather than overriding someone else’s access.

Heavy duty / electrician approved!!
This was great.. have a huge commercial fan ,From a business I had. The chain broke for the speed was on high. Long story short , took the motor apart to replace , but was a specialty part . Put it back together . I looked on Amazon and found this thing. Set it up in my phone , it regulates the speed 1-100%.Works great !! Iâm an electrician and the heavy amperage though the dimmer/ regulator is not a problem. That was my concern. Love it, great buy. And itâs daul plug too..cheers!!

Why did you pick this product vs others?:We already had some treatlife products, so this was a nice addition to the lights in our pavilion. I love having the app instead of the remote. I had trouble getting it synced up, by my husband got it working no issues. 😉 Thanks honey!Â
