Epson renewed Scanner is great and a wonderful value
This is our familyâs third Epson ES-580W scanner. They have been very durable and a great home office product! This latest Epson scanner was a renewed product and it was as good as new and at a large savings over new!It plugged right in and works perfectly. The scan quality and alignment is spot-on!

Don’t buy this product refurbished (You are not saving money!)
I bought this item refurbished b/c it was a few dollars cheaper than purchasing it new. It worked well for 1 day and then the next day it could not be powered on. I am returning it and may consider buying a brand new version of it because for the one day it worked the interface was great and it was easy to us. I hate that it stopped working after one day and that is why I am leaving a one star review for the refurbished product. Hopefully a new version of this product will be better than the refurbished.

Good and Fast !
I was using a traditional flatbed scanner that was also my printer. A friend of mine asked why I was doing things so outdated, when these high-speed scanners were so affordable. I researched and finally ended up purchasing this unit. I liked it so much that I purchased an additional unit for another location, and even purchased one for my brother. The scanner has saved me so much time, because it’s so fast and can scan multiple pages so quickly! I highly recommend. Oh, and each time I bought the ‘remanufactured’ units, and they arrived and basically looked and operated ‘as new’.

I’m very happy with my purchase
I love this scanner. I had a little trouble getting the scanner software to work because my computer uses a SnapDragon CPU chip set. However, after contacting Epson, they sent me software and drivers that worked very well. I was able to easily connect the scanner via Wi-Fi and USB cable. Anyhow, I really like it and it works much better than its predecessor which was a Fujitsu. My only complaint now is the software will not save files with a name that is prefaced with a YYYY-MM-DD format. Closest I can get is YYYY_MM_DD or YYYYMMDD.

Awesome Scanner
This is an absolute necessity for mobile notaries.The thumb drive document storage is a huge bonus. I scan directly to the thumb drive then plug it into the bottom of my phone and upload to the client all while still on-site.Has an on device setup for different scanning needs, i.e. Color, Black and White, and IDs.I also purchased the CleverMade SnapBasket 30 Can Cooler as a portable carrying case, which the scanner fits it like it was made for it.

Great Scanner
My only complaint is when i tape a receipt to a sheet of paper (like auto repair order) – it will not scan it where my HP will (thou the HP is bulky and much slower). works real well to scan smaller receipts.

Double sided scanning. enough said.
Stupid easy to use. Setup took less then 5 minutes and most of that time was installing the software. Have already archived 10 years worth of documents. The double sided scanning is the key.

It a great scanner, does scanned both side at the same time. It still needs some tweaking to make it better. It skew some time, the gamma is not good. Tried scanning 5 x 7 cards with lines on it. It does not pick up the lines very good. Also, It will not connect to my computer thru wifi.

This device is absolutely wonderful.Because it actually does what it should, has the right features, doesn’t treat the user like a moron, is priced right, and it. just. works.I got it home, and had it on my network, and scanning to a local windows share in LITERALLY 5 minutes. I cannot express in English words well enough how rare and amazing that is.It let me change the menus, it let me completely configure it from its intuitive touch screen, the scans are quick, accurate, and useful. I love it.I know I sound like a shill, but when I find a product that ACTUALLY performs as described and does it well, I feel the need to shout it from the roof tops.The number of products I own that I hate because they’re the best I could find, but they’re still terrible is shockingly high.I love this scanner.

I love this thing. Way cheaper here than at Staples. If you need to scan, using the printer scanner can be a pain unless you have a high end printer…which most of us do not. This little monster comes with me on the road and saves my life. Everyone I know who has it, loves it. Zero negatives I can find. High quality, portable, does an amazing job…
