Review and cable management hack
I needed a flexible solution for adding a movable flat screen TV to my home gym.I purchased this model based on the reviewersâ comments about the engineering and build quality. Unlike other models this one does not secure the center pole to the base by a few bolts. Rather, the structural integrity comes from a center hub to which the 4 spreader legs are attached. All the metal components are heavy gauge metal and the fasteners are sturdy bolts. The front two legs are longer to support the center of gravity once the TV is mounted.Assembly instructions were very clear and with simple hand tools it took about 30 minutes as an easy 1-person project. Mounting and securing my 55â TV went very smoothly. My only initial gripe was that there was no cable management feature other than a strip of velcro wrap to secure the cables to the exterior of the pole. I didnât like that so I came up with a fix.TIP for hiding cables: I removed the top cap of the main pole. With a bit of doing I was able to work my TV and Apple TV power cords down past a couple of cross bolts at the top and all the way out the bottom of the pole. Depending on the size of your plugs you may have to shave them down or press slightly with a long screwdriver to get past the two crossbolts that partially block the top of the pole. Another tip is to use a bit of wire or string as a guide. Run this down the pole first and then tie it to the plugs before fishing them down the pole from the top. If you encounter any snags, a few twists and tugs will get you past them easily. See attached photos.This stand came with a handy plastic sleeve for holding an Apple TV, but I found that mine fit perfectly in the channel between the back of the TV and the mounting rails. Very happy with this purchase. For under $50 it is the perfect upgrade to my home gym space.

Works great for older 49″ screen TV
This works great for an older 49″ TV that my son left after he moved out. The TV was sitting in my garage getting in my way and so I decided to either make use of it or get rid of it. I didn’t have any place I wanted to mount it on the wall so I decided to get a cart for it, that way I could use it outside by the pool. We already have a projector but it only works well when it is dark out. This works well even in the daylight which I primarily keep it under a patio cover by the grill. I like to watch F1 races on Sundays and this works great for that. This is light weight but feels sturdy and rolls around well. Make sure to support it while moving it in case you hit something that would stop the wheels. It has adjustments for tilt. It fits my TV well and the price is very reasonable. I would recommend having two people involved in moving it. I highly recommend this unit to anyone thinking about getting one.
