I’ve purchased every shock absorbing shoe there is, from 350.00 Force Reducers, to 250.00 z coils, Plus, I’ve had the first time around shape-ups. I liked them OK, but they were no Force Reducers, However, Force Reducers are in a new faze of production, they use to be hand made, developed by a man that stood on cement floors all day! he sold them to a bigger shoe company that is automizing (not hand made)Right now they’re working on the technique.. I’m not sure when the new owners will be up and running, it’s hard to get information about them, but you can go to you-tube and watch a video! I wasn’t crazy about the looks of the z-coils which are readily available, only they look clunky, yet I was willing to forgo vanity for the sake of my aching feet and knees! Then I found these, I needed a pair of shoes to stand on my feet all day, these shape ups will do me just fine until, I can get the Force Reducers..These new shape-ups also have now included memory foam!! They are as comfy as you’re going to get! I’m even wondering now if I need to spend another 350.00 on the force reducers. I’ll see how these hold up compared to the others….If you have wider feet I have noticed that some have complained/mentioned that they have stopped with the selection of width; I find these Shape-ups 2.0 to fit great in the width….I too have a wider foot, and I don’t find them uncomfortable in the width area at all….UPDATE- I’ve also concluded that these are indeed Black just as the box states (there was an issue of maybe, them being a very deep navy)!. Plus, I haven’t any need to purchase the 350.00 Force Reducers, I know expensive, but they were so comfortable and an investment in my health…These Sketchers are holding up great. I haven’t had any foot issues at all, I stand on cement 10 hours a day…Trust me, I’ve owned every so-called shoe for long term standing, those mentioned above in my post plus others I didn’t mention, Nurse mates, Dansko, all of those that say they are for standing all day! These sketchers blow them all away! I am not paid for my review, nor do I receive anything other than the satisfaction that I have helped others that work hard for a living have the best shoe possible for your job……

Totally Awesome Shoes and Worth the Money!
Totally Awesome Soes! Recommended by my foot.doctor. I work and walk on cement floors 3 days a week for sometimes 12.hours at a time. Theses shoes have taken away my leg fatigue and knee and foot pain and back pain in one full swoop!!!Can’t recommend them highly enough!!!!I have worn this type of sole and brand o shoe before…I wore the soles out. Thought I could go without this type of shoes.WRONG! But that is probably why I did not have to go through the recommended transition period of wearing shoes at an hour at a time. Do as others have suggested and order 1/2 size up. That way the toe box is big enough for rocking motion.The pamphlet enclosed with shoes said that while just standing, keep feet apart aligned over hips. That helped very much because I could keep my balance while bending over. Also, the manufacturer suggests imagining a line coming centered on floor though your body to top of your head while walking, using stairs, etc. I did not know that before nor how to walk correctly with heel hitting floor first and then weight moving to ball of foot. That was very helpful! Never too late to learn. Bottom line…these are Super Shoes!

Comfy Walking Shoes
Received the shoes ULTRA fast — much to my amazement and delight. Walking in them took a little getting used to, but I really find that my feet and legs don’t hurt at the end of the day any more with all the walking and standing that I do between two jobs. They’re not so good walking around the yard — best on hard surfaces. Really like the shoes!!UPDATE: Nearly six months I’ve been wearing these shoes at work where I walk/stand on cement nearly 7 to 8 hours a day. I LOVE them! They have held up wonderfully, are still comfortable and my legs/joints are not tired at the end of the day making it easy to teach four hours of dance each night. I will definitely get another pair when these begin to show signs of wearing out, but for right now they’re as good as the first day I put them on!!UPDATE: Shoes are holding out beautifully. I still absolutely LOVE them. So much so that I was going to order another pair now. ALAS, Skechers has discontinued this shoe. Why? This is a great shoe for those of us who are on our feet traipsing and standing on cement or other hard surface. I’m very upset with Skechers.

Wow. Je cherchais des baskets qui puissent être confortables. Je viens de changer de boulot et je suis en position statique prolongée. J’ai très vite ressenti la fatigue et les douleurs lombaires. Ces baskets sont super confortables on a l’impression de marcher sur des coussins. Je pense que ça va bien m’aider au quotidien. Ma mère qui souffre d’un allux valgus les a essayées et les a trouvées géniales du coup je lui ai commandé une paire à sa taille.

Great fit – I ordered a half size bigger than I normally wear. There is lots of room in the toe on these shoes. Very soft inside with the memory foam. The rocker shoes are so much better for my knees/back (on my feet X 12 hours, cement floors) but sadly seem to be going out of vogue again.
