THIS IS THE ULTIMATE VALUE LAPTOP
I donât write a lot of reviews, but this deserves one. I waited a little while to make sure it wouldnât break down after only a couple months because it was such a good deal. Bought about 6 months ago in December 2024 and itâs still running like new.Pros:-Value for the money. 17â screen, 32 GB memory, 1 TB SSD, huge 53000 mah battery that lasts me 6 hours, backlit keyboard – itâs unbeatable for the price.-Feels very lightweight in hand, especially for its huge screen size.-Screen is bright and clear and viewable from all angles. A huge upgrade from my older laptop.-It has a physical privacy switch to block the camera. Thereâs a built in slider you can move side to side. I couldnât tell from the pictures or specs, but I was hoping it had one, and it does.-The system runs very cool due to the processor used, which should considerably extend system lifespan.Cons:-The speakers are really bad. Very quiet and tinny. I need loud speakers, so I have to connect a separate speaker to get the sound loud enough for my taste.-The processor is slower than I expected. I thought it could handle what I do, which is not gaming. Just multiple webpages/tabs/apps open simultaneously for work/watching the markets, but thatâs enough to load the processor to max capacity and it slows the system down considerably. For basic usage like streaming/web surfing/basic apps it is very much fast enough though. And the slower processing speed is the tradeoff for the much longer battery life and cooler operating temp.So, long story short, I will likely need a faster laptop at some point. Maybe soon. And I will probably buy it from this company because they easily delivered and even exceeded expectations on the value they advertised. 11/10 for the value and overall build quality.

This laptop is banging good! I bought it to replace a different one I just bough, which was a piece of junk. This thing is even better than I expected. I bought it do mostly work and graphics type stuff, but I’m finally able to play a game I bough for an older laptop, after 6 or 7 years. The screens just pop up, almost no waiting. Very fast, very good looking, large screen. I haven’t played a “new” game, so that could be a bit slower, but I doubt it would be that much slower. Compiling programs that normally took about 5 minutes, now take under one. I wish I had the larger HD, but that’s on me. I don’t see a backlite on the keyboard though, haven’t found a setting for it. But for the price, I’m loving this thing. If it lasts. I would say absolutely, purchase this laptop. I’m really pleased, and when it comes to computers, I’m hard to please. The only downside, is Windows, but that’s a MS issue, not a “laptop” issue. I may have to go Linux with this one, or at least a dual boot. But that’s later.

Fantastic experience so far! My 5-year-old Mac needed to be replaced, and I purchased this laptop in blue during Amazon Prime.I am no tech expert; This laptop provided super easy setup for me. It’s got a numerical keyboard it’s got a fantastic crisp clear large screen that is easily adjusted from dim to BRIGHT.This laptop has a fingerprint reader, so I just touch my finger instead of typing in a passcode to access. It has many ports of all types. and feels very solid.Also, it came with a letter from the CEO of NIMO along with email, and phone number to actual live humans who breathe and have a heartbeat.Overall, I feel that this laptop is a great value, and I get the impression that NIMO is actually intent on putting out high-quality products that are up-to-par with major large competitors such as Apple, etc. but without the hype.

Nice laptop but the description is misleading. It just says Windows 11 but the description says for “business”. I thought it had Windows 11 Pro but it does not. It is running Windows HOME version….

A loaded computer for under $500? And who’s Nimo? But Amazon’s returns are so easy, I figured I’d give it a try.I’m glad I did! It’s a wonderful machine, crazy good for this price point. I’ve had it for a month, and everything’s been perfect, maybe even a little better than that.My experiences have been great. Careful packaging for shipping. The laptop a good weight, substantial but not opressive. I ordered the dark Blue by accident, knowing I could return it, but I’ve ended up liking it: it still looks professional, and it’s a welcome break from the monotony of Black. Setup directions are onboard and setup is fast and easy, even if you want to customize them. The machine was up and running in less than an hour, everything transferred and connected flawlessly.Operation is cool and quiet. I was again surprised by how fast, easy, and secure the fingerprint function is. Now I wouldn’t be without it. The screen is just right, big but not overwhelming, very crisp, sharp, and natural. The size makes a big difference for ease of use, but the machine feels hardly bigger than my old one. It’s fast, and I was amazed at what I had been putting up with in my old computer. (I felt like I had got out of jail.) The keyboard layout is logical and compact, even though the keys are bigger than those of my old Asus laptop. The backlighting is helpful, a touch cheerful, no matter what the ambient light.The sound is the usual for a laptop, and at home I like to attach my Klipsch speakers, which sound fine.What’s not to like? So far, so good. I feel like I got a great deal on a great computer. I’d recommend it to anyone. Since Nimo is still pretty unknown, I bought an extra warranty for two years. (If the computer turns out to have any problems, they will show up by then.)Check it out. If you don’t like it, you can return it. And if you do like it, you’ll feel pretty clever about it.
