Get this!
I think I got this as a refurbished unit on sale. Looks and works like new. I love it. I use it to rout bodies for electric guitars ( control cavities, binding channels and truss rod channels, etc. ) couldn’t be happier as it works perfectly.

Performs just like my full size Porter Cable used it with
Used it with the Craftsman door hinge jig on some interior doors. The base was too small for the jig and it kept rocking durring my no power test. It would likely gouge my door. But it was a easy to make one from some 1/4 inch melamine panel. And easy to install it on the XTR01Z using the same factory screws. Worked like a dream. Definitely worth the price.

Who needs a zip saw?
Bought for a job that wanted zip blades. (Added a collet reducer.) But I can also mortise hinges, round over trim, trim laminate, ⦠MUCH BETTER than a crap-tastic rotary saw.Looks like corded portable tools are going the way of the landline.

Iâve worked in the cabinet industry for 30+ years. These little buggers work awesome. So far they have surpassed my expectations, for a battery operated tool. Keeping in mind their size, it has worked great for Mortising lock hardware, laminate, and even 1/4 round on solid surface. Hopefully this was helpful.
