Good Quality Kit but Unable to Use
Bought this software module kit and has version 8.16 (latest is 8.17) firmware onboard but did not have the correct file onboard for my LG LRSOS2706 refrigerator. Which is quite a bother given that you must be a registered technician with LG to download the correct ones. Where I live that is a 2 hour drive to have it done for me and the waste of money on a purchase that is less than the shipping cost to send it back from where the refrigerator is these days.Also, to know whether the port on your PCB is TX or VCC is a mystery if your PCB does not spell it out on the board. Mine does not but there are ways to find out with an ohm meter.
