Good printer
This printer is easy enough to install. The directions were clear. It does come with a small stack of labels which is nice. It is a bit heavy so I don’t expect to be moving it around much, I will find a place to keep it and bring my laptop to it. I did not try using it with my phone so I cannot say how well it works when setting up with that, but it was easy to set up with the laptop. It will work well when printing labels at home.

An awesome and reliable label printer that quickly prints excellent thermal labels.
This is a pretty fast and robust thermal printer for generating labels.I am not a commercial user but find a thermal printer an excellent way to label storage boxes and containers in the attic, basement, garage, shop and closets. The dark printing on a neon-colored adhesive label really stands out and the color of the label makes it easy to see.In the shop I make temporary hand-lettered labels and later run a bunch through the printer to make them more legible. I also recycle plastic medicine bottles to hold various hardware bits and label them to help organize things and quickly find what I need. I have many cabinets and drawers in the shop and office and label them with a list of the types of items in each one.I actually have two of this model printer because I keep 4â x 6â labels loaded in one and 2â x 4â in the second so I can select either one from my computer or phone to print the size label I need. I can easily swap out the 2â x 4â labels for another size if needed, but I keep the 4â x 6â printer set up that way all the time because I print many more labels in that size.The application for such labels is endless, from mailing labels to inventory lists on the side of plastic storage bins.The thermal labels are more expensive than ordinary paper labels, but they are typically waterproof, oil and abrasion resistant and the adhesive backing allows removal of the label without leaving any sticky residue behind.Setup was easy, but I prefer the USB connection over Bluetooth, although I did set up Bluetooth as well. Bluetooth can sometime get dicey, but a wired connection is often more reliable.There is a vast library of templates available, so you do not need to make your labels from scratch, you can just modify a template to fit your need.I only wish that this printer was 300 dpi instead of 203 DPI. While 203 is the industry standard, 300 can be a little smoother, although the output from this is plenty dark with smooth character edges. This particular model printer takes up a very small amount of desk real estate, but prints very fast and thermal labels are typically superior to plain paper labels. I love this printer and use it all the time.
