Customers say
Customers find Norton 360 to be highly rated software that provides excellent computer protection, with several security features included. The installation process receives mixed feedback – while some find it easy, others report difficulties with proper licensing. Moreover, functionality and ease of use also get mixed reviews, with some saying it works well while others report it doesn’t want to work, and while some find it easy to use, others find it extremely difficult. Download speed and computer performance are significant concerns, with customers reporting download issues and noting that the software significantly slows down their computers. Value for money is also mixed, with some considering it a great deal while others find the renewal costs outrageous.

Love the product, hate how they are pushy sales tactics.
Iâve been searching for a good virus protector for a while and decided to try this one. It covers up to 5 devices at the same time, which is great, and the $50 first-year price is affordable. Even after the first year, the renewal cost is still reasonable. I also like that it sends notifications if something needs my attention. However, the constant Norton pop-up ads are frustrating; theyâre everywhere and feel pushy. Customer service is a real disappointment; whether you get a bot or a person, it feels like Norton is set up to avoid dealing with customers. Because of that, Iâd give customer service a horrible rating.

Comprehensive Protection with Excellent Performance
Iâve been using Norton 360 Deluxe 2025 for a few weeks, and it provides reliable and comprehensive protection for all my devices. The installation was quick and straightforward, and the interface is intuitive, making it easy to manage security settings. The software efficiently scans for malware, phishing attempts, and ransomware, while the real-time protection ensures my devices stay safe during everyday use. Iâve also been impressed with the VPN and password manager featuresâthey add convenience and extra layers of security. Overall, Norton 360 Deluxe 2025 delivers robust protection without slowing down my computer or devices, making it a great choice for anyone looking for a complete security solution.

Gotta keep your eye on Norton
I have used Norton for years and ultimately feel that when you have a subscription Norton relentlessly advertises to you. It feels like more of a scam than the scammers one wishes to block with an antivirus. I tried to cancel my subscription, but it did not go well. My experience is that Norton requires you to have a renewal credit card number in your account even if you do not wish to renew. I tried to remove the credit card number but when I tried, I was unable to “save” the change. So my card number was in the account and Norton automatically renewed my subscription when I did not wish to renew it, at a very steep price that I feel is excessive for the services provided. Please understand, I am not an attorney and cannot accuse Norton of anything unlawful. But I am a human being and I have feelings, and I feel that Norton made what I consider to be an unauthorized charge to my credit card because Norton did not allow me to remove the credit card number when I tried prior to subscription renewal time. Yes, like everybody I agreed to Norton’s terms and conditions–who has time to read pages and pages of terms and conditions? So from a legal standpoint maybe Norton was within their rights. However, my perspective is that I don’t want an antivirus provider who feels like a scammer. I don’t want to have to stay on my toes all the time to avoid a charge to my card that I do not want. I should be able to remove my card number from the account to prevent a charge that I do not wish to authorize. Instead, I want an antivirus that I trust and that protects me from scammers, and one that does not use my subscription as a platform for continuous marketing for their other services. so just to reiterate, I am truthfully sharing my own experience and feelings as a one-time user of Norton, but I am not asserting any misconduct or wrongdoing on the part of Norton, or calling Norton any names, because I may have set myself up for my unpleasant experience with Norton by agreeing to their terms and conditions.

I’ve been using it for years. It works. It’s also easy to turn off auto-renewal.
I’ve used Norton virus and PC protection for years. It’s now Oct. 2022 and I just renewed it again. I’ve found no reason to switch. It works, protects me from attacks, and is easy to use. I run a manual full-machine scan once a week. I’ve never encountered a virus having gotten onto my machine. This particular product auto-renews, which some commentators have found intrusive. I do, too. It’s very easy to turn off, however. After you install the product go to the “My Subscription” area of your Norton.com online account. Look for the product you’ve just renewed and are using. There will be a link on the line immediately below its heading allowing you to turn off the auto renewal. You’ll subsequently see a screen asking you to state reason why you turned off this feature. I chose “I don’t want to automatically renew”, clicked “CONTINUE” at the bottom, and the feature was turned off. Simple. The installation of the product, as I was already using Norton 360 from last year, took all of two minutes, and then a reboot of my PC. Now I’m protected for another year.As I noted, I’ve been using the Norton suites for years. It may slow my machine a bit when I’m browsing, but I’ve found via using TASK MANAGER to examine the CPU usage that generally Chrome is hogging the memory, not Norton. And it may slow the boot-up of my desktop a bit but, again, it’s a small price to pay for online security and I don’t find it annoying.I feel completely protected by Norton; my experience has informed and validated that feeling. No complaints.Note (from Nov. 2020): I renewed my Norton subscription last month. I still had a couple weeks remaining on it and yet, after I renewed, the expiry date didn’t adjust to add on those two remaining weeks. I was miffed. Logged on to the Norton site and eventually learned (through a chat session with a rep and also a subsequent call) that LifeLock bought Symantec during late 2019 or 2020 and has a policy of not adding on the remaining days when you renew the subscription. This seems underhanded to me. Anyway, I called a rep and he quickly adjusted my expiry date to include those extra couple weeks remaining on my previous subscription.Be warned: either wait until the day of expiration to renew or, if you renew earlier, be prepared to waste 30 minutes or so slogging through the LifeLock customer service system to claw back the remaining days. The annoyance was not quite enough to induce me to cancel my subscription. If this sort of thing keeps up, however, it will be.LifeLock reps, if you’re reading this: be honest in your operations. You tried to steal 4% of a subscription I’d already paid for. That’s dishonest.
