Durable and child safe
Does the job well. The only annoying thing is that the child can still pull on the cords to unplug the item and then you have to open it all back up to plug things back in. That feels like an unavoidable downfall. The most important aspect is child safety and this product does it’s job very well. There is no way my son is getting into that thing. It’s very durable as well. Worth the money for sure.

Works great! I have it upside down for the wiring. Just need to get the wires flush to the wall. Wish it had came with wall screws though, luckily I had some on hand.

Good Way to Keep Little Fingers Out of Power Strips
My little one looooves plug ins. This product prevents her from unplugging my electronic devices, from trying to plug things into the power strip, and from flipping the power strip into the off position. It keeps my child and my electronics safe!My only critique of this item is that it seems a bit flimsy when fully extended. The power strip for my entertainment center is a pretty standard length and size and fits in this strip cover with the cover extended fully. When extended, the cover can wiggle, and if wiggled enough, little hands could possibly figure out how to separate the two pieces, thus gaining access to the power strip. In an effort to avoid this scenario, I have placed the product placed far enough under my entertainment center that my child would really have to reach to get to it, so the level of concentration that it would take her to both reach for the power strip and open the cover is beyond what she is capable of doing.I am still satsified with this product despite its weakness when fully extended, however, because when I placed the bare power strip in the exact same location, my daughter had no problem both reaching for the power strip and flicking it into the off position. Furthermore, seeing all those cords, outlets, and plugs motivated her to move the power strip to where she could reach it better and within a matter of moments, she would happily turning it on and off, unplugging things, and trying to “plug” foreign objects into it. So another thing this product succeeds in doing is making the power strip less attractive for her by covering up all the things she likes most about them- buttons, plug ins, and outlets.If this device were more readily accessible (ie: out in the open) I think my daughter would have no problem figuring out how to open it and thus rendering it useless. It might not have the same problem with a smaller power strip because the product wouldn’t need to be fully extended.

The solution for protecting your power strips
We have a power strip in a spot where our dogs like to drag their blankets and lay down. They’re constantly bumping against the cords, loosening them. This was exactly what we needed to keep the cords in place and keep the power strip from being accidentally turned off. The cover is strong but easy to use, just follow the directions on the box. Ours sits on the floor but the cover is also designed to be mounted to the wall if you choose. Great product.

Easy to use, adjustable and keeps the toddlers and babies out!
I like the size of this cover. It can accommodate larger plugs which is perfect otherwise it wouldnât be As useful! I also like that it comes apart into three different pieces making it easy to install. Itâs a bit noisy since itâs made of plastic but other than that it serves its purpose 100%. I actually have five of these throughout my house, one in the nursery, one in my toddlers room, my room, and the office as well as the family room. Theyâre worth every penny and the fact that theyâre white makes them blend in with my house/ decor. Oh, and Iâve had these for over a year now and theyâre sturdy as well!

Just okay, but wouldn’t buy again
Works as described, although it’s very large. I don’t have it in front of me, but would estimate it’s a good 5-6 inches in diameter. On the plus side, plenty big enough to have those plugs where sometimes there’s a big brick on the plug (computer or something). We use ours for the TV and stereo. This was really too large to have it sit between the TV cabinet and the wall. You would need the TV cabinet or stand to sit pretty far out from the wall….in many ways creating a new danger in the house because my son was then compelled to try and crawl behind it. It also won’t fit under the cabinet, as the legs are only 4 inches. I ended up storing it inside the cabinet behind the stereo. Works fine, but kind of defeats the purpose if the power strip is inside the cabinet.I have another power strip that sits at a computer desk, with it located behind a file cabinet. This is just too big to place behind the cabinet. If you factor in the moulding on the wall (1/2 inch or so) I would need to move the file cabinet a full 6 inches or more from the wall! Just looks goofy to do that.In summary….decent product, but it’s big so make sure you have the space for it.

Great to protect your appliances from teens!
My needs in terms of âchild proofingâ is a bit different than most. I teach high school, and students were more concerned with the charge of their phones than what we were doing, so I started eliminating the amount of plugs available in my classroom. Then students started unplugging my computer to changer their phone. Ugh. So I bought this. This has not kept students from trying to unplug my computer, but it takes them about five or ten minutes (and a lot of noise) before they can succeed. This means the only child who has been able to unplug my computer was the kid who broke into my room during my planning period.If you are using this to protect your young children from appliances rather than your appliances from children, this will work very well. I donât recommend it if you will be wanting to plug and unplug things often from the protected power strip. It takes enough time and effort to get into it, you will easily become frustrated.Update: Iâve drilled holes in it and added a padlock to make sure that no one can walk off with my student chargers. Itâs working like a charm.

This protector is made of sturdy plastic. Easy to put together and big enough to fit small adapters inside. Not big enough for large adapters like the one for our vacuum accessories or Mac book charger. It’s also wall mountable, big plus. Will order more!

Get sized item, could easily fit a 6 point power box in it. Not to heavy but would need strong adhesive strips if not screwing into wall. Very easy to use and keep little kids out of danger
