Really does record Cassette to MP3 directly on USB Flash Drive
Was looking for a system to record my old Cassette music on to USB Flash Drives. Many said they did, but found that they actually require you to play the music and convert it with Audacity on a PC and then save to a Flash Drive. This system actually does it directly with no third party hardware or software. It works good too. The system has many features and everything worked for me out of the box. I really wanted to give a five star rating, but there are a couple issues that changed my mind. The Phono auto-shutoff feature shuts off before the end of a record song. This is a long known problem and is mentioned in the instructions. I believe this is a design error that should have been corrected instead of telling people to turn the auto-shutoff feature off. This is not a practical solution to me. The Tuner has the ability to program preset stations. Unfortunately, these presets go away when the power to the system is lost. This could have been remedied with a better choice of memory. Without presets you have to tune to a station manually which is a slow process. I was concerned when I saw that the system was powered with a wall wort that it wouldn’t have much power, but found it was more than adequate. Other than a couple quirks, the system is quite nice.

Initial defect
Received the BT- 58W and set it up. played one side of one album It sounded good. The speakers are adequate. I didn’t expect much more for the money. After the album played the I heard a POP from inside the unit. Then a very distinct and heavy burnt electrical smell emitted from the unit. I pulled the plug, aired out the room, tried plugging it back in. The unit was dead. No lights, nothing. I am returning it in and will try a replacement. I will update when the the new unit arrives.

Retro cool, good value, and versatile
Weâve had this unique stereo system for about a week now and itâs been a dance party at home ever since! Out of the box it was easy to set up. The record player was the main feature we wanted and converting our LPâs to mp3 is such a cool feature. I guess theyâre not called mix tapes anymore but âplaylistsâ. Brought back so many memories! The speakers are good enough for a medium size living room or a bedroom. So glad to have a unit that is backwards compatible with all the records, CDâs and cassettes weâve refused to let go of. Now we never have to throw anything away! In fact weâre looking forward to perusing the local record stores and adding to our collection.

Amazing stereo
Bought this as a “starter” turntable so I didn’t expect much. I was very pleasantly surprised! Not only is the sound quality great for my small condo, but all the features work perfectly. Imagine my surprise when it played a cassette tape originally recorded in 1991 – WITH NO SKIPS! Even if it only lasts a year, it’s worth the money.

Nice system and great buy
I reviewed a lot of brands and models and decided to pick this one because of the color and the features it had (record player, CD and encoding). I wasnât sure if I was going to like it but I have not stopped using the system ever since I received it! The record player is fantastic and it sounds really good. Got the first one, found the turn table wouldn’t play a record with out skipping, and the same with the CD player. the drawer also wouldn’t function properly. got a hold of seller, told them about problems, were more than happy to replace with a new one. Got the second one, and it has the same problems. Would not recommend it. The seller was good to deal with, and more than willing to address my concerns.
