Advice for Parents of Black/African American Girls
This was a replacement for the smaller helmet I’d ordered for my 3 year old granddaughter and returned because it was too small. The measurement would have been accurate if my granddaughter had hair texture like Caucasian children but hers is long and thick. This one fits PERFECTLY. For parents of Black/African American (however you choose to call yourselves) girls, please take into account that our girls wear braids, beads and multiple ponytails as hairstyles so this WILL fit toddler girls ages 3-5. The smaller one will most likely fit Black/African American boys as they may not have the hair/fit issues. This helmet is actually very pretty and this picture does it no justice. It match PERFECTLY with her new bike.

Great graphics and detail
Great graphics and detail. The snowflakes are raised and glitter which adds a nice finishing touch. Does not come with extra padding to adjust fit, but that’s an easy fix. Crown jewel is deep and well attached. Size is acurate. This is a higher priced helmet than many, but the quality is well worth it to my daughter, and she feels like a princess.

My little girl absolutely loves her Princess Helmet, as she calls it!! It fits her great and does not hurt her head like others she has had before. Its so freaking cute too!!
